If paid using Credit Card, it should get charged in another 5 - 7 days (earliest) and PER 15 days after that.

if paid using DD, expect +10 days in the above mentioned (the earliest)

The delay however can't be guessed.

Really sorry buddy... Yours and mine is the exact same case, just the difference of dates: (This proves that it takes ~50 days for the package to reach your doorstop (in India) from Canada)

But my friends I heard and saw that there are forumites whose application accepted despite that they didn't attached BC. But their Xth Certificate did contained the Father and Mother name poperly that matched with Father and Mother's Name as in Passport... Was it not the same for you??

Hello, I have a strange situation in which I need help. My brother had applied for immigration in 2000 and in 2005 VO got back mentioning my brother to have misrepresented his case for which there was a 10 years family Ban (since I was accompanying him as a dependent brother), so now If I my self apply for FSW ,will I be inadmissible too cause of my brother who misrepresented and whose family information my name was also mentioned?

Hi Seniors,

My current job falls under NOC code 1112 where I have a little over 1 year of experience. My earlier job falls under NOC 2171 where I have 3 years of experience. I would want to continue working under 1112 but the applications under that code are almost capped out. What are the implications of applying under 2171 in this case? Will I be able to apply for 1112 jobs after becoming PR? Will my PR card say that I got in through 2171 and not 1112? Will my application be less strong if I apply under an NOC which is not my current job? If there are no such adverse implications and I go ahead with applying under 2171, do I say that my intended occupation is 1112 or 2171 in my Generic application form? Please help!

At the moment apply for noc 2171 and you can claim 4 years of experience.
Yes, you can apply for jobs under NOC 1112.
No, its not mention on PR card that you got PR under which NOC.
No, chances are not less.
Intended occupation is in which you are applying. So, write 2171.

Hey Amit,

I did send spouse's X certificate which had her name, DOB but not parents name. Since I am from India, I also attached PAN card copy which has her name, DOB and father's name. Along with this, I also submitted a signed application mentioned BC is unavailable and I will submit the same in due time... But CIC didn't accept it...

My take from this is: The X Certificate which one submit's in lieu of BC should have name, DOB and parent's name in it.

If i recall i had written my timlines as below:

AOR- 10 Aug
MR- 15 Sep
PPR- 15 Nov
Visa- 31 Dec

I did not recieve AOR but got my MR on 16 Sep..i hope rest of the dates are also met...

Yes dear.
Name mentioned as per passport.

My case was also same like yours. I renewed both of our passport before 2 months. And after I got PER. I informed NDVO with updated copy of passports and canceled passports. However, no response from them. Lets see if in Medical i get my wife's name as updated or as it is.

but you are quite safe. If your date is not near to current applications who are getting MR. You can have time and renew your passport.

As we know this year a lot of applicants including me are stuck with just the second line update. Based on this forums past experiences, I would request our friends to please help us understand the process, as the wait has become increasingly horrible.

If the BC has all the info but not the child's name will it cause any problem. In India most of BC's were issued like that.
