do you have the spouse name updated in the passport?? If not then it will be an issue in getting the PCC from PSK as they will ask to get the spouse name updated.

I am also sailing through same situation; my son's passport will expire in May, 2015. I have to submit medical, PCC and RPRF on or before 13th December.
Shall I renew my son's passport now, after the medical or no need to renew?

Please any one advice.

They check if you are having some incurable communicable disease or not...

Knee Surgery won't be an obstacle in MR.

I received my PER now its compulsory to change name in passport?
I have submitted marriage certificate with my file.

Its not compulsory, if in future you are planning to change her name with your suurname then this is the best time to apply for new passport. You can inform the same once you have the passport via case specific inquiry NDVO.

One of my fren has two passports, his old pp no. is printed in IELTS TRF and has got few countries visa stamped on his older one. His new PP is MRP and wants to get his Canadian visa stamped on it. He is going to apply soon, what should he do now?

Really sorry buddy... Yours and mine is the exact same case, just the difference of dates: (This proves that it takes ~50 days for the package to reach your doorstop (in India) from Canada)
