Hi Staind,

I have a different take on it. Even if a file is returned they are giving UCI no. And I believe all the details are recorded against this. That is how when some on writes an email checking status, they are able to say that the file is returned. They may not be recording the return reason because it is not a rejected file and hence may not need to be recorded. That is why they are sending a common printed for all returned applications, highlighting relevant sections for that specific application.

Data provided to CIC must be accurate and consistent. Else it might lead to rejection. However, one can always reapply using a related NOC if the job duties match.

Hey Optimist...I beg to disagree and with good reason. I had requested for GCMS electronic notes, this came out blank and they asked me to amend the request to physical file. I initially did not understand this, however, physical notes refer to the file in CIC's possession, basically, CIC will send you a scanned copy of the file available to them. Unfortunately, the physical also came out blank. This indicates that there is absolutely no record on the returned files, I am assuming it is returned because there is no way that my file is still awaiting completeness check (June 10th). UCI is given to anyone who submits an application (unless package returned without opening), so I presume UCI is added to the file before it passes the completeness check and it is unreasonable to expect that CIC will tag all associated notes for files that have not been processed. However, the situation is different if the file was processed, CIC retains the file in such a case and it may be possible to verify if applied under a different NOC.

I wanted to share a good news with you all. I got Medical request/PCC/RPRF mail Today . Spreadsheet updated.

I have one question. Me and My spouse are expecting a baby in month of December, How should i inform the embassy a) Through replying to mail that we are expecting baby or b) by sending case specific enquiry? Which one is better option? :'( :'( ??? ???

Anybody had same situation kindly share how they had sorted out this thing. :-[ :-[ :-[

Friends,

Is the processing of APP based on date or NOC code. I sent my app on July 10th but as per call center agent she can't see anything in the DB. She said may be your APP in not opened.

I have problem with my name also when I filled. I don't have surname and last name. so I put my first name in surname. When the agent she asked me for last name and to explain to them was difficult.

I don't know what happened to my APP now. My noc code is 3111. I don't even have copies as I have sent all originals to them.

Congrats on your application progress. As to your baby on the way, you will need to update the VO when your child is born with the child details and also pay extra application fee to cover the child. But there is nothing stopping you from sending case specific enquiry now on what the process should be. All the best
