I am 14th may applicant...received PER on 27th Aug......still awaiting MR request from NDVO

I had been endeavoring for Australian PR also for last 1.5 years before applying for Canada since the Canada PR window was closed for me at that time....

A week back, with the grace of God, I received my Australian PR Visa grant for me and my family....

Now I have some questions and apprehensions in my mind to ask with this privileged forum members....

1. Should I inform NDVO about the same?....will it impact my application in both situations, if I don't inform them or I do.......

2. Should I wait for the MR request before pursuing my Australian ventures.......

3. Which option would be better for me? Australia or Canada, Considering my area of work, branch Manager with leading life insurance company with 10 years of experience....

Would like to have suggestion on 3rd Question specially from Seniors and those who have an experience of both countries and can throw light on all aspects of life and future prospects in both countries.....Others could also give their kind suggestions, most welcome.

Hi,

I have got PER and also have Skill Select Invite to Apply for Aus VISA.

I think Canada is better option as US is near

At the same time Australia is having warm atmosphere so Australia is better.

So final decision you have to take !!

Also you can KEEP both PRs at the same time !!!

Congrts...

Do you have any other document which was sent along with application which has your father & mother name along with your name and DOB. If yes, then you might be safe. Good Luck!!

@vermap: I am sure that this will be the case with most BCs, especially in India and I am quite positive that CIC will be aware of the practice. If your BC mentions your parent/parents' names, it should be fine. There may have been other reasons for rejection of the application that your referring to....

1. When you got PER email? Normally this is the 1st line so that means they have received your file. But its not AOR.
2. Yes, you have to inform now because once they ask for MR then you have to get x-ray done and that's harmful to baby. So you have to inform to local VO and to the Doctor too at MR stage.

Seniors, please confirm.

1. I got email from CIO Sydney Office on Oct 23, 2014 with UCI & File Number. I guess that was PER. And after couple of days, ecas status was updated. My question is: How much time will it take as my file is transferred to LVO?
2. Can i update LVO now on medical situation of my wife? or wait for LVO to email me?

Hello all,

I have a suggestion to ask of. If someone has already received the Medical request and would like to remove the spouse name from the application at this stage, how can it be done. Due to some occupational reasons my spouse will not able to take the PR status at the moment and has decided not to accompany for now.

What is the way out and how would it affect my application?
Where can I find rules/regulations on this?

Just have 30 days to send the Medical so would appreciate help.

ask your spouse to complete the landing formalities and then come back to your home country. You can decide later on when he / she wants to come back to Canada for good.

But if you need information or help, I am always ready for that :)

Hi,

*I am deleting my older post and posting this once again since this may also solve queries of many in similar.

Expert's your advice are needed 8)

1) When can i expect "Medical / PPR / PCC"? 45-60 Days as per spread sheet
2) Will the second line be updated post mail is sent from NDVO or before that? If so, what would the second line state?
3) From which mail id of NDVO can i expect mail for "Medical / PPR / PCC" request? delhiimmigration @ international.gc.ca (Replied by a formite to my query...thank you)
4) How would the following read
• 1st Line: It looks like “We received your application for permanent residence on *****”. When it will be updated? Post received at respective visa office from Nova Scotia?
• 2nd Line: Does it look like “2.We started processing your application on August 6, 2014.” When it will be updated? Is it when NDVO receives the application from Nova Scotia?
• 3rd Line: How does it look like? When it will be updated?
• 4th Line: How does it look like? When it will be updated?

Thanks and All the Best :)

Re: Settlement Fund- App Recd. 2nd July- PER Pending - ECAS Status - "In Process"

patelsd84 said:
Dear Experts,

I am a 2nd July Applicant under NOC: 1123

Please share your valuable comment on below shown settlement fund in the application

A) - Total Assets - INR 16,78,896 -- $ 29,980

1) INR 5,00,000 (as a Fixed Deposit)
2) INR 7,61,341 (Savings in my account- Out of which INR 3,50,000 was borrowed from father and now given back to him)
3) INR 1,85,234 (Savings in Spouse's account)
4) INR 28,400 (My Provident fund)
5) INR 68,000 (Spouse's Provident fund)
6) INR 1,26,000 (Surrender Value of LIC)

B) - Total Liabilities - INR 4,00,000 -- $7,143

So, Total Available Settlement Fund is (A) - (B) = $ 22,837

Now, would that be okay if I show valuation report of jewellery as I have
given back borrowed money to my father..??

For point 4 and 5 if it is EPF only then it is counted 100%. if it is PPF and more than 5 years old then it is counted 50%.

Rest seems fine, if you come short of funds as per above explaination, you may take money from your father as gift for xyz purpose or even for immigration purpose (but only nominal amount) keep that backed up with gift documentation if you are asked for explaination in future (only less than 1% chance). You can nail it this way... i believe

Good luck

Thanks Optimist... Yes, they added UCI number on my returned form with a pencil.

So you would advice that I mark Yes to the below question in the form?

Q6. Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application ever:
d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Qubec (CSQ) or application to the provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any country?

Thanks,
LB7199

Please mention your UCI no. in the application form also. Write a covering letter mentioning that your earlier application was returned due to missing document, hence mentioned the same in application. It is only to be on the safe side. They will anyway verify the facts once you mention your UCI no. See no harm in mentioning in this way.

Good Luck!!

Just adding this bit of information.

Got RPRF DD done from HDFC bank today.

Asked them how can I check if DD is encashed or not.

They said keep the reference number written on DD in your record and can later on come to branch or call phone banking to know the status using that reference number.

Thanks for the info.... cant give you + 1 again as iI just gave you today morning

PLEASE PLEASE i need help from the SENIORS in this forum....i think i am in a lot of trouble...my ICCRC regulated immigration consultant just told me last night that he has received my PER Mail but when i asked him to send the PER mail, he first said that he wont send it and then when i was adamant he said that he will send the PER Mail but will erase the ECAS or UCI number from it!!! This sounds really strange to me.

Also he was behaving very rudely and told me that i am lucky to have received PER in the first place as my application was a very weak one. And said that he had to personally got to Canada to submit my application and there he convinced the people responsible there to accept my application. He said i had to beg them to overlook your experience issue!!! To let you all know he has made out an issue from my case for absolutely no reason. I have 11 months job experience + paid internship for 10 months in the same job in a Govt office. so in total i have 1 year and 9 months experience which was sufficient for me. But he says he had to beg them to consider my paid internship as legitimate experience!!!! Is that even possible. Can a consultant do that while submitting a clients application!!???

The point is can my consultant do whatever he is doing rite now. He says he will give me UCI number only after my medical request has arrived. Also he will take full payment before that. I was amazed at how rudely he was talking to me. At one point he even said that i will throw your application if you keep on asking me questions, just let me do whatever i am doing and dont ask questions.

Please help me i am almost having a heart attack....what should i do now...can i complain about him. If yes, WHERE?

And if i do lodge a complaint about him will he in any way be able to harm my application or immigration process

Please please please i ask all the senior members to help me out. I need your advises.

Yes my and my wife's passports.....

You should be fine I guess. It is for these reasons it is recommended to write a covering letter to fill the gaps and make a complete picture for the person processing your application.
