Hi Optimist,

vind answered on my below and asked seniors to confirm:

Hi Seniors,

Request another small help... I am re-filling my forms as my previous app which i sent on 29-May was returned to me due to MISSING COPY OF SPOUSE BC.

Is there any space where I need to specify this? That I have applied in FSW-2014 and this is my second attempt?

I see a question in the Schedule A Background declaration form:

Q6. Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application ever:
d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Qubec (CSQ) or application to the provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any country?

Do i need to tick on Yes or No for this question?

Regards,
LB7199

Did they give you UCI no.? If no, then you dont need to mention it as refused application because they haven't even started processing.

If yes, then mention it as a rejection and also the reason as "missing document".

Just adding this bit of information.

Got RPRF DD done from HDFC bank today.

Asked them how can I check if DD is encashed or not.

They said keep the reference number written on DD in your record and can later on come to branch or call phone banking to know the status using that reference number.

I am 14th may applicant...received PER on 27th Aug......still awaiting MR request from NDVO

I had been endeavoring for Australian PR also for last 1.5 years before applying for Canada since the Canada PR window was closed for me at that time....

A week back, with the grace of God, I received my Australian PR Visa grant for me and my family....

Now I have some questions and apprehensions in my mind to ask with this privileged forum members....

1. Should I inform NDVO about the same?....will it impact my application in both situations, if I don't inform them or I do.......

2. Should I wait for the MR request before pursuing my Australian ventures.......

3. Which option would be better for me? Australia or Canada, Considering my area of work, branch Manager with leading life insurance company with 10 years of experience....

Would like to have suggestion on 3rd Question specially from Seniors and those who have an experience of both countries and can throw light on all aspects of life and future prospects in both countries.....Others could also give their kind suggestions, most welcome.

if I were you, I would do Australian landing whilst keeping Canadian Immigration running.. Only you can decide which country best suits you once you get experience in both waters. My personal preference might had been Canada but again, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."!

Dear friends,

My ECAS status update: 1. In Process. We have recieved your application for permament residence. I have few queries:

1. Does this mean, my file is now transferred to local visa office?

2. My wife is pregnant. She is expecting in April 2015. Do I need to inform visa office now or later? By when can we expect to receive MR from London Visa Office?

Thanks.

1. When you got PER email? Normally this is the 1st line so that means they have received your file. But its not AOR.
2. Yes, you have to inform now because once they ask for MR then you have to get x-ray done and that's harmful to baby. So you have to inform to local VO and to the Doctor too at MR stage.

Seniors, please confirm.

Do you have any other document which was sent along with application which has your father & mother name along with your name and DOB. If yes, then you might be safe. Good Luck!!

Thanks Optimist... Yes, they added UCI number on my returned form with a pencil.

So you would advice that I mark Yes to the below question in the form?

Hello seniors,

Please confirm.Actually I have submitted Notarized 10th certificate as date of birth proof. So will it be considered or Affidavit is mandatory ?

I think you are good...In my opinion, the importance of affidavit is over-hyped, ans also a mail from CIC was shared by a forum member of ExpatForum in response to a query, that secondary school certificates are accepted in lieu of BC.

Notarized copy if non-english document, you are good, dont worry

If you did send affidavits of your parent's along with School certificate you shall be ok. If not than it's very hard to say. Try to send affidavits as an additional doc's asap. I know one personal case where my friend got a rejection for not submitting his spouse's birth certificate. Good luck..

It should be accepted even without affidavit. I have come to know about couple of cases.

Good Luck
