Dear Friends,

I received PER on 24/9 ,i am in the process of collecting PCC for myself and my wife.

I just noticed that in imm0008 form under '15 a Previous countries of residence' i have mentioned

1. Malaysia

2. Singapore ( though the period of stay is less than 6 months)

I have already got PCC's for Malaysia . Should i inform NDVO about this now before getting MR,PCC request ?

Please advise

Thanks

You should wait for MR and PCC request

Good luck

Also, include a letter of explanation indicating that your birth was not registered...Affidavit is optional, although I have seen many people recommending this on the forum. As per the CIC requirement, secondary school certificates are acceptable in lieu of BC, no mention of Affidavit. LETS POSE THIS TO THE LARGER GROUP: CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM IF 10TH MARKS CARD HAS BEEN ACCEPTED WITHOUT AFFIDAVIT.

I know of some cases where there was no birth certificate, no 10th standard, no affidavit from parents mentioning date of birth. They got PR just by giving a self declared affidavit along with Passport and another ID (PAN Card, Voter ID, etc). I think one person on the forum has confirmed this too, can't recollect his ID.

I tried to collect the Birth Certificate from Municipality in Punjab, but there are lot of issues in it.
My father and mother surname is missing and place of birth is written as Incorrect. I'm trying to rectify it from last one month, but looks like they are going to take their own sweet time.

I have 10th Certificate with my name, DOB and father's name mentioned on that. My father's name initials are mentioned i.e. 0.P xx (Surname) instead of Om Prakash xx (Surname) which is mentioned in my Passport and Marriage Certificate. Would that be an issue??

One file got rejected because that applicant forgot to send his wife BC. This depend upon case to case. Better to provide affidavit along with 10th Mark sheet(certificate).

I am 14th may applicant...received PER on 27th Aug......still awaiting MR request from NDVO

I had been endeavoring for Australian PR also for last 1.5 years before applying for Canada since the Canada PR window was closed for me at that time....

A week back, with the grace of God, I received my Australian PR Visa grant for me and my family....

Now I have some questions and apprehensions in my mind to ask with this privileged forum members....

1. Should I inform NDVO about the same?....will it impact my application in both situations, if I don't inform them or I do.......In case you are through with the final step of Australian Visa and it's only a matter of boarding that flight to Sydney then I think, through case specific link you can update NDVO. Alternatively, you may send mail to NDVO. The e-mail ID was shared by few forum members here

2. Should I wait for the MR request before pursuing my Australian ventures.......As mentioned above, you can update NDVO before you get MR

3. Which option would be better for me? Australia or Canada, Considering my area of work, branch Manager with leading life insurance company with 10 years of experience....You need to do your own research here. However, if you have a relative or a friend in Australia then the decision get's easier. Many people do consider the weather also. However, Once you are in Canda, USA is always at the arms length :D

Would like to have suggestion on 3rd Question specially from Seniors and those who have an experience of both countries and can throw light on all aspects of life and future prospects in both countries.....Others could also give their kind suggestions, most welcome.

Hey Mate,

Prepare a covering letter and mention that you are sending them missing form now. Cover letter should contain all your personal details (Name, DOB, Address, Contact Number, Passport Number, Date of original application received and who received it).

Alternatively send them and email (scanned copy of cover letter and wife's filled form) from your email address that you have mentioned in application form. Ask them to confirm that they have put additional form that you are sending them with your original application.

I sent some additional documents too, and alternatively sent email as well. They replied to my email exactly after 31 working days confirming that the additional document has been attached to original application received and that they will consider this when evaluating my application.

Good luck :)

The only option for you now (assuming that you need your wife's language score to get 67 points) , is to anyhow get IELT's TRF report and send a new application asap. Missing a form is a sure reason for considering your application as incomplete and in all probablities will be returned. If you are unable to send a new application, than as a last resort send the form as an additional document and hope that they attach it with your main application. Very bleak chance for this to happen, but give it a try rather than doing nothing. Good luck

You can submit an affidavit addressing all these deficiencies in your BC. Had it not been for the wrong place of birth, your current BC alongwith affidavit would have worked fine. Alternatively, the Xth certificate along woth affidavit should also do. I sent latter alongwith my application and it was accepted.

If it is just one form, dont need to send the entire app buddy. Just send the missing form as an addendum with covering letter to the same address where you sent your app mentioning your name, passport no., DOB, date of receipt of your app at CIC.

Good Luck
