Dear Experts,

My visa office is NVDO

Second line of my EACS was updated and says "We have started to Process your application from 20 Oct 14".

However no MR Mail till now. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Is this due to diwali holidays??

How long does it take usually to receive MR email after status update?

I have seen usually people the MR mails immediately or withing 2-3 days..anyone who is having similar problem??

Congratulations on second line updation.
For your querry i suggest you refer global spreadsheet, that shall give fair enough idea about the times taken to issue MR after second line updation. to be precise you can't predict referring SS.

Hi Everyone,

I have applied for NOC 2171 in June. My file reached on 27 th June. On 24th Oct , I got the mail for PER and file no. Almost 4 months time.
I think next step is to give Medical and PCC. I have applied for PCC before I got the PER and my appointment date is 10Nov. My passport address is Bangalore. But now , I moved from that house to another one. So my present address is different from the passport address. I have some doubts
1)Will I get the PCC on same day?
2) Do I have to go to police station for verification?
3) How long it generally takes Police verification to be over and to get final PCC?

Thanks
Chinmay

Hi,

Please advice...

I applied first time for Canada. I received PER on 21-oct.......after getting my UCI, i logged into ECAS........my ECAS says 'In Process' which by clicking further says 'We received your application on June 23, 2014..'

My question:
Is this what we get in ECAS after getting PER ?
WHat will be the second update in ECAS and by when i should expect it ?

Yes this is what is mentioned in ECAS after getting PER.
Second update may come at the time of recieving MR and RPRF, it may show we have started process your application with date mentioned....Thanks...

Any seniors with more accurate advise may share or correct me.....Thanks

Answers to ur questions -
1. No
2. Yes, Because ur passport address and current address are different. Also, if u r staying at current address for less than 1 year, then police asks for last 1 years address details with proofs
3. Approx. 1 month

am in the same boat as yours... 24th June applicant with DD - outstanding.. and no updates from CIC
On positive side - it seems many of the DD applicants (around same time frame) has the same issue. and we can hope of all will be encashed together and very soon...

On -ve side- one of the mid June applicant Delhi based got his app returnedlast week only. so if our luck is heading in that direction than we may receive our app in 1-2 weeks...

all the best to all of us!!!

I feel you, bro. June 19th, CC, no news yet. ::) Nothing to do but wait it out patiently, I guess. Life goes on, this isn't the first or last option to come your way in any case. If not this, then something else- things do fall in place ultimately.

Cheers.

I am really tired of this process. I am a June 30 applicant, no CC charged, no mail, and more importantly no package returned. For how long shall i continue to wait, even after sending emails to CIO?

Thanks..
But address in my passport address is not of Bhopal, but indore which is diffrent district but comes under same passport office

Now in this case can a walkin to PSK will work?

Hello Malay, yes you can take the PCC from bhopal PSK.
I also did the same. Got PCC in just 5 Minutes after clearing the First stage though it took around 3 hours because of huge rush.

I just want to add that, my passport was reissued just one month back so no police verification is done again.
i think if passport is not older then 1 year then police verification is excluded and you will get PCC on the same day.

Seniors please suggest

while i hope for the positive, getting my app back will at least give me closure. Mine is even CC so i expect the encashment earlier than even DD. I pray we all get good news.
I also noticed that we applied under NOC 2133, and earlier thought the delay was because CIC was encashing hotter NOCs, i have since realized that some 2133 apps were charged even recently

Hi All,

I got PER on 18th Oct.
I have 3 queries regarding my file.

1. My son's passport is expiring in Oct 2015. Do I need to get his passport renewed now or 6 months are enough after MR?
2. He is having American Passport. Do I need to inform USA embassy about his PR once he get it?
3. I appeared for IELTS again and got better score and my wife also got her IELTS score. When I filed initially then I did not include her IELTS and achived 67 points with my old IELTS score. Once my file transferred to NDVO, can I supply new IELTS score along with my wife's IELTS score or that is useless now?

Thanks in advance.

1. Not sure about your first question I am sure more experience people can help with that
2. You don't need to inform USA about you son's PR status. Both US and Canada allows multiple citizenship.
3. If you have got PER already you don't need the ILETS score again as you only got PER because you made the 67points required.

Hi dear forum members. .
just recivied an email from LVO they have requested additional documents which include a police certificate from London where I was on HSN for 4 months... can anyone guide me on how I can obtain PC from London. .
regards
