Hello Seniors,

I need help regarding issuing PCC from India.I received PER on 3rd October and i was trying to get PCC done for my wife and myself.

We got married in February and since my name was not there on her passport and she had been staying in the current address only for last 4-5 months (when we tried for PCC), she got an adverse report..

Is anybody else in this situation? Should i get a new passport issued for her with my name also in it and then try for PCC.

Or should i try PCC again now, since it is now almost 10 months for her in the current address and also she is going to get a new voters id with the new address in 2 weeks.

Things moved quite swiftly for him it seems.

WOW!! He is a lucky bloke to have it processed that fast in 2013!! No idea pal how NDVO functions to be very frank! No trends whatsoever the way they are processing at the moment. Thanks for the info!! n Wish you all the very best!! Hope we all get to hear the PPR from NDVO soon. Cheers!!

Hi there thanks for these information... but i beg to differ on the point that PERs are being sent by local VOs i.e. NDVO but its sent by CIO. After issuing PER CIO transfers file to Local VOs for further processing and they will issue MR, RPRF and PPR request and Interview request if required.

I hope seniors will correct me if i'm wrong.

Hope so it does, waiting for MR as almost more than 50 days after receiving PER, also like to see PPR requests realy fast by NDVO....All the Best....

Just now got the MR mail from consultant. NDVO sent the MR request on 21-10-2014.

Second line was updated on 15-10-2014.

Hi Maverek,

Visit PSK of your area ASAP.

No need to get new passport.

Apply for yourself and your spouse online with below important points:

1) For your spouse give address of both the places, pre marriage and post marriage with duration and time period
2) Get a bank account opened in a nationailised bank, just one day job and get a passbook handy with names and current address of both on it.
3) Keep marriage certificate handy ..

Visit PSK as in case of adverse report, you will have to go through a police verification which takes a month. So be quick and as soon as your police verification is done, visit passport office for a status as PSK website does not update status so frequently...

If you are applying from Delhi, then you can straightaway apply for PCC on Delhi police website and that will be available online in a week, if you are applying from rest of india, PSK or passport office is the only solution.

Today I sent my documents for MR to NDVO. Contents are below given
1. Photocopies of Passport front and back bio pages of me and my spouse.
2. Original Pcc for me and my spouse which were issued on 25Aug 2014.
3. original Acknowledgement of medical completed for me and my spouse.
4. RPRF in INR 53400 For me and my spouse as DD.
5. Document request letter which was received in MR mail.
6. A cover letter from my side.

Please confirm me if I have everything ok. SS will be updated shortly.

Vind, NDVO sent the mail on 21st Nov. so i think his consultant just woke up and NDVO is still sound asleep..

1 advice please,

I have got PCC issued on 24th June from AMbala PSK , and since i just got PER on 8th oct my estimate is MR PCC req might come in DEC, do we know how long CIC considers the PCC valid issued from PSK ambala , also i have called Passport call center , and they said i cannot apply for a fresh PCC till 6 months are completed since the issue of the 24th June one ...

can someone please clear the query related to PCC


I think PCC is valid for 6 months so dont worry, however seniors may put light on the same.

RPRF request are send by NDVO so has to be payable to NDVO, also you can make the DD in INR payable at delhi, but beware of proper conversions in CAD, so keep some room for Conversion in INR DD.

I m July 8 applicant and waiting for my cc charge
One confusion..my passport expired last month in October..
So little tense for that reason.
Whether they will issue PER on expired pp

Is it a big issue?

I have a question regarding my current designations. Although i work as software Designer, NOC 2173, My designation in current organisation is not in the NOC list. My employer has issued duly signed experience letter on company letter head stating job duties of a software designer.

No Designation is not important , job duties have to match with the NOC you are applying for, feel assured ,
