i got per mail on 8th oct....do u think my file would be rejected even before reaching local visa office....and without process??

there are chances that your file can be rejected after getting PER ever before reaching your local visa office. but then the eCAS status will show three lines in your status.

1. we have received your file for PR on so n so date..
2. we have started processing your application on so n so date.
3. Decision has been made on you application on so n so date.

and it will show decision made in status. So if your ecas status is not available then it must be some other reason. so relax

@kishcanada: i believe you got your response for DD validity from seniors.. it is certainly valid for 6 months..

am still waiting for my DD encashment and eagerly waiting for PER. I also learnt from the forum, Indian banks are always not accurate about status.. one of the member posted his local bank still shows outstanding status but he already got PER ;D ;D. lucky guy!!!

also last week i read 1st week and 2nd week of June applicants got PER... so we may expect good news soon...
This week is ours... we will get PER...

Spouse addition is much much easier before visa stamping on ur PP....

So if its possible to take initiatives then u can fix ur marriage before sending PP to NDVO (if PPR is sent to u)....

Still there is a doubt some people said Canadian immigration enquire a lot if marriage happened after medical request

Have patience... As Ashif said, it could be due to a maintenance issue.. Because as far as I remember the other guy about whom I have mentioned had only one line updated on ECAS that "His file have been received on ....." but if you have received PER on 8th October then I guess your second line also got updated that "We started processing your application on....."..

So chances are very less in your case and it is due to technical issue..

But as you have received the PER on 8th October and its 27th October now so your file will be at Local VO (I guess in your case its NDVO) around 15th October.. After PER, CIC immediately send the application to Local VO..
And I am not sure if Local VO will reject it without contacting you for further clarification if they find any discrepancy or conflict... They can even ask to appear for interview..So, be relaxed..wait for some more time..and check ecas..

Hi All,

How long need to wait for MR? Second line updated on 15th October and its 160th day of application. Really frustrating, as ppl after me also got MR. I know still a few candidate before me are waiting for MR but the processing style of NDVO really agitating one.

You can expect in November 1st or 2nd week... After encashing your DD wait for another 2 to 3 weeks...

In personal history - I was working in India from november 2013 to current and made a vaccation trip to wales. Does the vacation trip need to be mentioned in personal history. or I only mention 2013-11 to current as working ?

When i went to UK to study MBA - i have mentioned that as a trip and during study i cam back to india also mentioned as a trip . Is it OK ?
