I have query regarding charging of application fee. I am 25th June applicant under 2131 NOC. I see in the spreadsheet that from 2nd June onwards 99% of application is not charged yet. As compared to previous month there is a big gap between 5% and 99% of applications charged. My demand draft for the application fee will expire by mid December '14. What do you think will my application fee be charged by then? How can I check my application status with CIC? Please guide me. Thanks.

ya understood. But i don't have credit card. I called CIC newdelhi. They replied as no need to worry about the fluctuations. they said, provide DD or CC amount should be same as mentioned in the CIC fee schedule website. So i have taken DD already. Today and tomorrow weekend So i'm Planning to send by monday to NDVO. Inside india DHL and Bluedart is good i think so. Any idea?

hi how did you manage to call CIC New Delhi... And did they say anything about credit card payment?

while i am reviewing my forms, on IMM 5620 fee payment form, under Section A "Name of principal applicant(given name(s), surname" i typed like "DORA, XXX", and under Section B "Name of cardholder(please print)" i also typed "DORA, XXX", while the name appear on my CC is actually "XXX DORA". will that be a problem?

I have a question about adding common law partner to the original application. My girlfriend and I have been together over 3 years but we just recently started living together in Toronto. We would have lived together sooner then this but we couldn't due to school/work related obligations.

Do you think it would be possible to somehow add her to my application or should I wait for another 9 months so we have 12 months of cohabitation. I would really appreciate your opinion on this. It would help me out tremendously. In other words, how strict is CIC in regards to this and will this only delay my application. Thanks!

You can only add her to your application now if you get married first. Otherwise you have to wait until you have physically lived together for at least one full year. Then you will be common law and will be able to add her to your application. CIC is extremely strict about this rule. You need a full year of cohabitation - not one day less.

Either you marry or add your partner after 12 months of continuous living together.

Application date 8 July; NOC 3142
My file was returned on July 2nd after my credit card payment was declined (Nitro PDF glitch)
I reapplied again with the cover letter!
Going to update the SS now!
