CIC is government body. Don't judge Canada by how CIC behaves. That's the way most of the government offices worldwide operate. In each of our home countries they are even worse, lets admit it. So lets compare an apple to an apple and not apples to oranges. :)
The corporate world, though, is very disciplined in Canada and that's where we will be. Also remember that no country will be 100% perfect. We need to accept the flaws and keep expectations accordingly. :)

Well said. And yeah, it is all about expectations. Can't agree more.

Thanks for the greeting. Yeh, seems they are trying desperately to remove the tag. Again it has to be on sufficient numbers.

+1

Also check the Forbes list of happiest nations at the link :
http://www.forbes.com/sites/christopherhelman/2013/10/29/the-worlds-happiest-and-saddest-countries-2013/

An extract from the website as below :
"So who’s the happiest? As has been the case the past five years, that distinction goes to countries that enjoy peace, freedom, good healthcare, quality education, a functioning political system and plenty of opportunity: Norway, Sweden, Canada and New Zealand."

Hello everyone,

I got my PER on 26th Aug 2014, VO - LVO. It has been more than 8 weeks now and still no communication from LVO. ECAS status shows as "in process". I have seen from SS that couple of guys who received PER on 25th & 26th Aug have already got their MR request in 2nd week of October.

Do I have to worry about something here? ::)

Jasim.

No there is nothing to worry. You will hear something soon.

CanOl,
I know how other immigration systems operate. KCC manages DV lottery. They reply to queries next day :-) and they have 50000 winers each year, double the numbers of FSW.
EOI is 100% electronic based. Want to send an addendum? No problem scan it and submit the subsequent form. All the process is complete within 6 months. Tracking covers each step. No gray zones.

And take Canada. Alexander was kinda boasting that they are now processing passport apps in 2 years in the recent q&a.

Canadians know that their immi system is flawed by the way.

If all docs arrangement is possible before deadline, better to send together to avoid miss outs at VO end.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

What if I am not able to submit my PCC within the deadline of 60 days and the Indian consulate is taking more time. Will my application for FSW be rejected in that case?

I cannot keep up with the pace in this forum. Too fast! :o :o :o :o :o

Does any1 have a general picture on the 2174 scenario?

According to the SS (Noc by fee encashed TAB) there was a charge to 2174 today. It was the only app charged today (in the SS), from all NOCs, for that matter.

Has this person posted anything here?

I posted my prediction recently.

All noc 2174 until September (September is excluded) will be in cap.

Thanks. I think it's better not to write anything to CIC to avoid any confusion. But will it have any impact on my first application? If my second application is still open...also what if I block my credit card?

I was in the same situation as you , i had sent a second application package for the same NOC , and i wrote an email to them to return back the second application as soon as i got the PER for my first one. And today i got my second package back -:)
Also mention the following details in the email

Full name,
Application Recieved Date
the courier tracking number,
passport number,
DOB,
Place of birth

Just to be on the safer side DO NOT mention your UCI from your first application in the email , who knows they might withdraw the one that has a PER instead .
