Addition of your would be spouse is not a good idea at this stage. As it will delay your process too. SO get your visa first go to canada and then sponsor him.

Adding spouse will delay may be by a month or so but sponsoring spouse after completing landing is going to be more time consuming & more paper work.

Your suggestion will only work, if she receives visa and is able to land in Canada before she gets married, which might not be feasible since the marriage is in December. If she gets married before landing, her visa will be invalid so there would be a delay regardless.

Thanks Shakti,
Actually i have a birth certificate made by municipal coorporation and
1) it is in Hindi 2) spelling of my fathers name is not right on that certificate.

Now, when i applied for English translation of that certificate, they are not able to find the record. they say that it is damaged.

so, thus, is it good if I Translate the birth certificate in hindi to English from any translator instead of Municipal cooperation.???????
otherwise i think it is better to declare as i do not have birth certificate.?? then i have to use the 10th marksheet as birth certificate.

Please advise.

Hi,

Go get a sworn affidavit showing your date of brith, place of origin and both parents' full names. You may now attach the marksheets.

Don't forget to include a cover letter
All the best

I suggest you send translation as per their requirement: attested copy of original birth certificate, its english translation and an affidavit from the translator bearing stamp of the translator (mentioning his/her position) and stamp of oath commisioner.

BTW, if that certificate is in hindi, then spelling mistake in father's name must also be in hindi... Just spell his name correctly in the translation...

Totally agree, if she get married after receiving COPR then she might have to surrender her COPR +Visa, and if she tries to land then it will be considered as misrepresentation and CBSA will take away his COPR, and will send her back to home country.(Based on an true incident)

O CIC....Please get up and throw some light on CAP updation..
