Is 10th school certificate is accepted as Birth certificate? and for spouse too?

Need some advice my Dear forum members -

1. If I receive Medical Request and PCC Request, do I have to submit all the documents together. Lets say I get my PCC for USA ready, but I am still waiting for my PCC for India, can I just go ahead and submit PCC of USA first and then submit PCC for India when it comes through?
2. Is their a deadline for submitting these documents?

The e-mail you received should have instructed you. Different VOs may be different, but my e-mail instructed me to submit all documents together, and within 60 days.

I got Medical Request from DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca
I have not received any mail before that
DD en-chased 10th Sept
NOC 2174
Medical Request 24th OCT
Now my question is ..My marriage is fixed on 8th Feb 2015
Before that it is expected that I ll get visa if everything goes smooth.
So can I apply PR for my husband too from India only after marriage.
Or I have to land in Canada first..Then I can apply..

Kindly give your opinions...

I suggest do register marriage and add marriage certificate ASAP in your application

It will be tough thing to add you future husband once u get PR

If your 10th certificate has one of your parents name, it should be good enough. I know this very clearly, because this was reason for my friends rejection last year and in the valid documents it is written that 10th with one of parents name is fine document.
Also a school outgoing certificate, with a parents name will do.

Actually i have a birth certificate made by municipal coorporation and
1) it is in Hindi 2) spelling of my fathers name is not right on that certificate.

Now, when i applied for English translation of that certificate, they are not able to find the record. they say that it is damaged.


so, thus, is it good if I Translate the birth certificate in hindi to English from any translator instead of Municipal cooperation.???????
otherwise i think it is better to declare as i do not have birth certificate.?? then i have to use the 10th marksheet as birth certificate.

Please advise.

Once you get a visa your application is closed and you can't add your husband. You'd have to sponsor him after landing which is certainly possible but it would be preferable to add him now and bring him with you.

I suggest you contact the VO and ask for guidance. Or you could move up the wedding date, but I know that would be difficult.

Nope. It means that CSU doesn't reply to queries that didn't reach "maturity date" (70 days as per their policies).

Thanks Diplomatru, but could you pls explain more about timeline, 70 days from the date that CIO received the application or the query?

If from the query, it's a bit early since I noted from CIC website that we can only ask them about our application status after 8-10 weeks from receiving date. it means to me that for 28 Jul applicant, that guy could write to CIC around 2 weeks ago.
