Hi Seniors,

I got my PCC done, But the certificate is only given till the applied date that is oct 17th, Police said they cannot give PCC with any future dates, Will that be an issue?? As I am yet to get MR & PCC email request and if it delays for a month or two can i send the same or do i have to wait for 6 months again. Police said that they will not renew the current and we need to reapply and that too only after 6 months.

ECAS says we started processing on oct 16th.

Please let me know

Congrats, are you CPP O applicant ?
your passports will be mailed back to your mailing address as per your application. It has nothing to do with address on the passport. Go ahead send passports asap.

Bro...for the information if you have been charged by CIO, u hv to be in touch with your bank personnel...

You need to wait for around 120-130 days after ur applicatoin received at CIO.

So, most probably in ur case..by Oct 14 end, u wll have ur day..!

There is not even a passport request from NDVO, hence Visa is far away.
What you recall is some dummy entry my friend, which had happened sometimes back.

The following could be the possible steps:

1. CIC submit DD to Central Bank of Canada (encashment day for CIO)

V
2. Central Bank sent it physically to Royal Bank of Canada (DD drawn on the bank) - it may perform same day or take several day.
|
V
3. Royal Bank will verify with ICIC bank in India (bank where applicant drew the DD)
|
V
4. ICIC bank confirm and release the money
|
V
5. Royal Bank will confirm getting the money -possible time when ICIC bank will declare encashment
|
V
6. Royal bank release it to Central Bank of Canada
|
V
7. CIO get its money

Note the time difference between step 1 and step 5. Because of this gap, it takes time to bank to confirm encashment. The whole process could take from 3 days to 15 days to complete.

Any banker, if I am wrong, please let me correct it.
