Sorry friend for the bad news! this scares me though..

was it on your employer letterhead with your boss's contact details (his work email address and phone number)?

You still have a very good chance to resubmit. I believe your boss almost used the exact "WORDS" and "SENTENCES" as written on HRSDC site. Try to send:

- Contract or letter of appointment
- Payslips
- Any promotion letter

Finally, did they encash your CC/DD? because I feel this phase should be the eligibility phase and hence the completeness check is supposed to be done and your CC/DD should be charged, is this the case?

All the best on your next round

Here we have doubt because as per our forum currently 4th July applicants are being charged....and as per our friend his application reached 24th July..It means CIC have started the completeness check for august applicant now...because it took time to reach the application back and second thing...they consider eligibility check at completeness Level.

Hello Members,

I have a serious dilemma about selecting the "right" NOC code. I am a lead technical architect and qualify for both 2173 and 2174. More like 60% 2174 and 40% 2173. In all fairness if I do apply for 2173 I might just get through. But if post visa if I do manage to get through the interviews with companies looking for 2174, am I eligible to join? Or would I be only bound to 2173?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Love this forum and it's speed!

Regards and Luck to all,
Manan Parikh

Don't worry... you won't be bound... you will be eligible to join

Thanks.
No DD cashed yet.
The reference letter is in my employer letterhead with his boss's contact details (his work email address and phone number)?

Then it would be helpful if you can share the ref letter you submitted to better understand and advise you.

Seniors, does this mean the completeness check include basic eligibility review? or this is the normal completeness check process?

another question, in case an application is returned for a different reason does this mean the ref letters were ok?

thanks so much.

After listening your case, I am also worried for same reason( too much technical). as Century gave me same comment. However when I took CIC NOC help they did confirm my reference letter matches to my NOC.
But to review my application , would you be able to send a snapshot by PM ?

Sorry for posting my inquiry again, seeking seniors thoughts please:

"Dear Seniors, in regards to the ref letter i may have the following case:

I worked for 2 employers and both of them are providing generic experience letters without the needed details by CIO. So I think in having this self-declared ref letters for both employments. for the first employer, I'll use my supervisor details as he is still working there. The issue is with the other employer where my ex-manager also left the company since 2009 (I worked there from 2005 to 2009), so will it be possible to refer to him and add his private email address and personal mobile phone number and mention this in the cover letter (tell the CIO offices that both of I and my manager left the company on 2009 - my manager left 3 months before I leave)? will it also be Ok to have two self-declared ref letters (No employer letter heads)?

Thanks in advance for your support."

Thanks to members who answered.

Any senior volunteer ;D ;D

Thanks for your reply. But are you sure that gifts are considered legitimate for settlement funds for Canada? Should I send this affidavit along with my application?

Also, do you have any canadian immigration site links which talks about gift deeds and their acceptance by review officers?

Welcome, yes i'm sure b'cos one of my friend did the same and got PR last year. In Affidavit ask your dad to put words like, I don't have any control over the amount in future and yourname can use this amount as his/her wish.
