PER is a long way to go. It would atleast take 3-4 months for you to hear anything from CIC (assuming if you are submitting your applications in another 10 days). However, I would like to know:

1/ Do you have IELTS ready?
2/ Do you have valid experience which relates to your NOC?
3/ Do you have all docs ready for submitting the application?

If everything is ready then you are good to go...

Best of luck.

2173 will be almost full by the time CIC starts processing October applications.
NOC2172 should be tried if job duties match.

If not then there's nothing to lose. Then apply for 2173, though chances are zilch.

I'm sorry to say your chances are very very low. But it will take them a while to return applications. For applicants from some countries it can take up to 2 months to arrive.

I suggest you begin preparing another application if you qualify under a different NOC, otherwise you already have a head start for EE.

Yeah i understand my chances are less but i applied from US and it should not take 2 months to get my application back. Anyways if not this time then I will apply next year under express entry.

Hey forumites,

Does anyone knows the nickname of the guy that got two PERs? Do you know what happened to him? How and when he was invited to chose one or the other?

I understand that his apps haven't reached VO stage yet. He would have to withdraw one app before RPRF request is issued by IPA, so it is unlikely that we would hear from him in a month at least. If I recall his id, I would let you know via PM.
