Try calling at call center/card division. From the transaction record, they may able to say why it is not successful. If you don't know why it is not successful, you won't be able to fix it with your credit card.

Hi - Need an urgent help / advice.

I tried to pay the RPRF through my credit card. But I got a failed transaction receipt twice!

I tried on Friday as well. (I called up bank and they said I can pay the amount...no trouble from their side)

Please let me know what do I do.

Check your address on Credit Card with bank. Mismatch of address might be the issue.

Thanks, Goku! I just received a call from my bank that my international credit limit is only 25 k :(
(For everyone's information)

Anyone can let me know if I can pay the DD in CAD?
If in INR, how much?
I still believe in paying in CAD as I dont want to get into an issue at a later stage due to difference in conversion rate.

Please, please help.
regards,
Reshma G

Thanks, Century :) They called me and told I dont have that much international credit limit
Do you know if I can pay in CAD DD?
If INR, I feel there will be difference in conversion rate when they encash the DD. That might leads to some issues.

If he is the single applicant in his application then he is supposed to show POF for 11824 CAD only.
I did the same and received PER on 16th Oct. Application reached to CIC on 18th June.
Hi Ptyagi,
Thanx for your time.
From your experience, even i have family i can apply alone without including them.
Better i will go and settle first, later will process for family.
Please Advice... :)

INR is 26,700 per adult applicant. There is no issue of fluctuation.

Yes, you still must show for 4 persons.

Why won't your family accompany you right away? You are required to explain this to CIC. It shouldn't prejudice your application, but if they suspect the answer is "I can't afford to bring them with me," it could be a problem.

Applying for himself alone won't work. He still has to show POF for the whole family.

My family consists of 4 (2 kids), so there is no chance for me to apply alone. The only option for me to apply with the whole family, else the CIC will reject my application?
Please Advice :(

[size=20pt] Am slightly diverting from the main topic here, but the people who are applying under IT categories (2173,2174, 2172 etc) and people who are applying under managerial categories (typically NOCs starting with 0***), they might have heard about the requirement for Canadian experience and hence the need to upgrade their education. (typically people who have worked as IT Project Managers/IT Program Managers/Business Consultants/Management Consultants/IT advisory Consultants/Software Engineers/Team Leads/Strategy Consultants/Financial Consultants etc etc. I have four questions for them as below

1- What are the courses and universities and programs you guys are considering to upgrade yourself to make your CV Canada worthy?

2- Should we start a whtsapp group or Facebook group to Network and know about the possible educational upgrade options that we have?

3- As in point 2, if there is already any such network group on whtsapp/facebook etc., can anyone send me an invite or add me to that group? I would be very grateful.

4- If there is no such group existing presently, let me know and I will start one on either whtsapp or Facebook.

Thanks Guys
** PM me your details if you guys wanna be a part of such a group, should I start one. So that I can add you up.

Can I use my friend's cc? I believe yes. But wanted to double check with you experts.

Yes, you can do that. But note that in the payment receipt form, your friend's name will be automatically populated into the form. So, you also need to give a cover letter to explain that you have used your friend's credit card.

Better, you increase your limit and use your one. My choice is DD is it is least costly.

Hello Forumities

I need an emergency help
some ppl say CIC will do background check to ensure about our work experiences and they call to some of the companies who have provided our reference letters
is that true or its just a rumor?if its true , whom they gonna talk to ? HR ? CEO ? do they ask whether we have just worked there or not ,or they wanna know about our responsibilities with detail ? has anyone ever been subjected to background check ? have you ever heard anyone with such experience ?

I m a 9th June applicant, I m not sure about others but YES my company HR did received a verification call when my file was at CIC. They ask about my designation, Job duties, my character and my pay....
