Folks - Has anyone had a file delivered to CIC Delhi office on a Saturday by Fedex? Mine was delivered on a Saturday and was signed for by the security guard.
Please advise.
Thanks!

I am saying this visa office might hold off MR for ALL applicants so it can avoid confusion of whether some applicants needs extension and some do not. Again this only my thoughts. Since you are in Canada, Cant you call them directly?

As a relative newbie to posting. I must say you guys are extremely helpful. No-one is obligated to answer anyone and the fact that you guys do it is commendable. So we should embrace the senior members and those who wish to congratulate others and provide assistance. Remember it is free. Big up seniors! You are all doing a good job

+1 pending for being ever present and helpful

Hello everyone.

Which date aplication is being processed now?

I will attempt to answer you question with my limited knowledge. As I know you must add you family to you application. Failure to do so and you will not be able to sponsor them at a later date whether or not they will accompany you.

Also POF should be for all of you and not just you. So they may reject the application if they see it at the review stage.

Well said jamcity

Hi Experienced Guys,

I got a question! I have received my PER and was wondering about the police report. The PER email says not to send them anything unless asked for. But I heard that the police report expires in 3 months (even though I amnot in that country anymore). Is that true? If yes, should I contact the immigration dept. regarding that or just simply wait and get another police report?

I am not going to just send it since they have clearly asked not to send anything (which makes sense since they are in the process of sending the docs to the Visa Office).

Thanks!

Security guards do work 24X7; so it is not unusual. Apart from this, Delhi Office received courier through security guard.

4th July. You can check it into spreadsheet.

Hi everybody,
I almost sure but for having your confirmation from dudes were in same situation and already received PER, ask my question here:
How much point I can claim form my age? My birth day is 07/08/1978 DD/MM/YYYY. Whether 11 or 12?

Thank you all in advance

Yes, you can start processing it hoping that it you will get PCC in three months. If three month passed, you may need to get another one. I suggest, you hold this decision till 40 days of your PER is over - after that you may get request.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp
Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

Here are my 2 cents..

Do not hire any consultant to prepare your application. They are rip off. I hired a consultant to prepare my application for 2174 NOC. He charged 75k and did nothing except delaying my application. I handed my complete package to him on June 14th and he dispatched it on June 26th. God knows what was he doing with my application for 12 days. Had he dispatched the application on time, I would have made it.

Whenever I used to push him to expedite the case, he always used to say, 'You are safe. You are on track. I am 100% sure that you will make it'.

And now since the cap is full, he is not even picking my phone.

In nutshell they are good for nothing. If you want to spoil your case, hire them.

That sucks major balls. Wait out for Express Entry!
