Hey Guys,

need an important piece of information.... UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES IS THE PERM JOB OFFER LMIA EXEMPTED...??
my wife is an INTERNATIONAL STUDENT in Toronto and I landed on a Work Permit... Since the cap is reached for 2174 I have to apply with a job offer...

I read at cic that LMIA is exempted for spouse of International students.. but m not sure if it's applicable to FSWP as well.

People who have hired Canadian Consultants, can you please check and confirm this... would appreciate your help...

Ranjit, Have you got IELTS reports and TWO WES report.

I have attached orignal IELTS WITH APPLICATION under 1112 and for application under 1111 i used photocopy and mentioned that originals already submitted to you office with other application ,
and I have sent original WES reports with both applications

certainly not. if you choose them to be dependent now you have to show POF exactly now.

If there is name field, write full name and signature else only signature.

I just wrote my signature and I got PER. Just make sure all necessary documents are signed

WES does assess your education; CIC does give point based on assessment.

So, if WES assess your education equivalent to 2-year post secondary degree, you will get 19. It is difficult to comment your degree equivalency unless you do it or someone from same institution and with same degree give responses.

I am 12 May applicant for NDVO, Am I the only one who didn't received MR?
I got per on 22nd August, its almost been 2 months since PER. I hope everything is fine with the application...

Also I see lot of people getting MR emails but the second line in ECAS is not getting updated, is this normal or it gets updated after some days?

Second line is getting updated on Tuesday or Saturday after MR. So its possible that people don't update ECAS while updating the SS on receiving the MR.
