I am a newbie in this forum. Must say this forum is amazing and helping people in a great way.

I have a query please help . I am 9may NDVO applicant and till yet only a single line is der in ECAS status(we started processing ur app on '' ''' ). I have received no MR mail till yet and no second line update . I can see many lucky and good people after 9 may who have recieved MR and some also have second line update and will receive MR shortly. But for me nothing NO second line and NO MR mail yet. request someone to throw light on my query.God Bless all.NOC 2174.

Dont worry, you got ur PER thats the most important and strongest rope to hang on to.. for now. May 7-8-9 th applicants are still reporting the MR mails so.. u sit tight with fingers crossed and wait.. wait..

Hi All,

PER Date : 25th September.

I am expecting MRR & PCC request by around Nov 15th or later as per S.S approx

I have 2 questions to ask.

1. My spouse (Applicant )has valid Indian PCC but currently in U.S.By Dec 1st week completes 6 months stay in U.S.Will it required to take FBI Clearance ?Yes, PCC required for more than 6 months stay.

2.I stay in India . Planning to apply PCC thro Passport seva Kendra.
My passport address and permanent/current address is not same. Passport taken 8 yrs before .Spouse name not there in passport.
In this case.How much time it will take to receive PCC considering the above points??No issue, you will get it within 10 to 20 days

Apply for Indian PCC as soon as possible, there are case where it takes more then 5 weeks in few cases. Generally it should be available in 1 day to 3 weeks.
Visit you local police station, after applying for PCC, so that verification process can be fastened.

I am glad that you have that information. So Masters degree is not mandatory for NOC 4011: University Professors and Lecturers? That makes it easy for those who don't have masters yet. that's quite Cheap.

I don't know if you mean "cheap" in a good or bad sense, but as a rule the only portions of the NOC description that matter are the job duties (including the lead statement). Though it's hard to see how someone could be a University Professor with only a Bachelor's degree, if someone is they qualify for FSW.

Received my PER on Oct 16th.I have an update in my daughter's name and need to inform them.In the PER mail it is mentioned to inform the visa office of any kind of changes if available.My visa office is NDVO. Hi Folks,

I am applying for NOC 2281. My courier was received on 10th Sept and I'm right now in the middle of the helpless "waiting and overthinking" phase. Just had 3 questions -->

1. I am a Type-2 diabetic. Could that cause issues with clearing the medical. What kind of ailments are they seeking to screen out.-- they are mostly picking out people with any communicable diseases which dont pose a threat to Canadian citizens (so that they dont blame their govt for letting such people migrate into their country ) And they are also on a look out for the type of immigrants who dont drain their free health care system funds. type -2 diabetes provided you take good care of yourself and be able to prove that with the history of your condition: eg how long has it been that you had this, how were your monthy sugar levels, what kind of medication had the dosage increased due to carelessness or has the dosage decreased cause you took good care of your self, your monthly records of the blood tests etc. all these factors could give you brownie points.
2. Are there any forms or action items that I can carry out during this phase. When would I need to be ready with my PCC? Worry about this after you receive your positive eligibility review.
3. I have applied for NOC 2281 - Network Technician, but I'm actually working as a Network Engineer for Cisco for 4 years. Might it cause complications that I am working at a higher competency than the required one? IMO no but check with other forumites

I am a FSWP 2014 applicant. Got an email from CIC that I passed the eligibility review but the CIC agent did spelling mistake in my Family name. How can I rectify it ? Should I write to CIC or should I write to my Visa Office ?

Hi all Seniors,

Please guide me,

My application under NOC 2131 was received by CIC on 20.06.2014.

As per my bank, My DD was encashed by CIC on 16.10.2014 and when I check ECAS with my old UCI no on 17.10.2014 its showing the following message:

"IN PROCESS" and after clicking this its showing the following:

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2014."

But PER mail not yet received.

Please guide me, what the status of my case and also, what are the chances of rejection.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR VALUABLE OPINIONS.
