1. My husband 4011 applicant is being offered a job as chef in another city, probably having to leave his professor job (4011). Will this affect his application?
2. I read in the forum someone asking if a masters degree is needed to be able to apply for 4011 NOC, is that true? Stressed.
3. How can he get a reference letter of a closed company?

1. If your husband has at least 1 continuous year of service in the NOC 4011 category, then you don't need to worry what he is doing now.

2. A Master's degree is required for NOC 4011. Google "4011 University professors and lecturers - Unit Group" and you will find this on the government of Canada website.

Employment requirements

A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required for university professors.

A master's degree in the field of specialization is required for university lecturers.

Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.

I have a query please help . I am 9may NDVO applicant and till yet only a single line is der in ECAS status(we started processing ur app on '' ''' ). I have received no MR mail till yet and no second line update . I can see many lucky and good people after 9 may who have recieved MR and some also have second line update and will receive MR shortly. But for me nothing NO second line and NO MR mail yet. request someone to throw light on my query.God Bless all.NOC 2174.

How can I check the ECAS? I got PER on Oct. 8th, and to date, there's no record on ECAS.

I feel confused so many people tell me its not necesary because what is explained at the link are only the employment requirements to work in canada as a professor not for applying. Very confused. Seniors please shed light on this.

Yes, I received the physical file (along with all supporting docs) back with a letter of rejection stating the reason as missing copy of BC for spouse.

Hi Folks,

I am applying for NOC 2281. My courier was received on 10th Sept and I'm right now in the middle of the helpless "waiting and overthinking" phase. Just had 3 questions -->

1. I am a Type-2 diabetic. Could that cause issues with clearing the medical. What kind of ailments are they seeking to screen out.
2. Are there any forms or action items that I can carry out during this phase. When would I need to be ready with my PCC?
3. I have applied for NOC 2281 - Network Technician, but I'm actually working as a Network Engineer for Cisco for 4 years. Might it cause complications that I am working at a higher competency than the required one?

Hello!!! I might submit my application for FSW under NOC 3012 in December 2014. I am worried about the cap by the time my application reach their office... What do you think?
