Could someone plz elaborate the significance of GCMS notes? Do we really need it for any stage or to be submitted at anywhere CIO/VO? or it's just for our record purpose?

GCMS notes gives the details of all activities undertaken with respect to you file from the time of submission...looks like they start updating the information to their system at AOR stage, so if you have just submitted the application, chances are that the results will draw a blank. In my case it has been 130 days, no CC charge, no returned file, no response to any my emails sent to CIC. I tried GCMS as a last resort to see what is happening with my file, looks like it wont help much either.

GCMS notes are record of notes which Visa officer made while working on your application (at VO stage). So if your application is getting delayed or facing any issues then you can order GCMS notes to see what can be the reason behind that delay or whatsoever.

Ordering GCMS at early stage is of no use because there will be no notes in it.

FYI: Notes are generated on that day or possibly next day from the day you submit your request, and its sent to applicant after a month. So, the notes you receive will be 1 months older.

Another thing is do no re-order your notes if you haven't received your previous notes because if you re-order it again then it will change your order date to latest one.

Yes person ordering on behalf of you should be in Canada, permanent resident or Canadian Citizen. You also have to provide written consent to them which they have to upload it at the time of ordering notes.

After 2 months my file received to me and I have to start again :'(
The reason was not to attache my educational documents although I send WES certificate
But there is a notification about experience letter as well that it should be in the specific range and also clear and so on.
Do you know that it necessarily means that my exp letter has problem or it is routine to warn about it
Also they mentioned a number in UCI field of for 0008, could you help me to know that is it possible to change my NOC or it was registered

My application under NOC 2131 was received by CIC on 20.06.2014.

As per my bank, My DD was encashed by CIC on 16.10.2014 and when I check ECAS with my old UCI no on 17.10.2014 its showing the following message:

"IN PROCESS" and after clicking this its showing the following:

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2014."

But PER mail not yet received.

Please guide me, what the status of my case and also, what are the chances of rejection.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR VALUABLE OPINIONS.

Hi friends It was 18:31 IST and I was driving and my phone rang with the email notification couldn't stop myself so I picked up the phone while driving and was amazed to see it was none other than the golden mail

Some more info I want to share

In my original application I did not send BCs for me and my wife and my working hours were not mentioned on any of my reference letters.
So I sent

BC for me and my spouse

A revised reference letter from one employer stating my working hours and a full time employee confirmation email from other employer's HR.
For another 3 employers I sent a self declaration affidavit that I was a full time employee and worked.more than 48 hours a week.

These Additional documents were delivered on 16 Sep (when application of mid June were under completeness check)I also sent an email on same day I.e. 16 sep as guided on the forum and sent all scanned docs for their reference. But yet I dont have any official confirmation of the inclusion of those documents. But I believe those are definitely added to my application.

Once again thanks to almighty God and all of you wonderful people on the forum.

I am literally crying could not stop myself from sharing with you so stoped the car and shared.
