With God's Grace & Forum Support I got my PER email 2hrs back

DD Encashment Date - 7thOct2014
PER Received Date - 17thOct2014 ;D ;D

Thanks to everyone who contributed in this forum and gave me confidence to file my Application myself. Hey fellow Forumites,

Congratulations to everybody who got their CC/DD charges, PERs, MR and PPR recently – especially those of NOC 2174 whose hope had been shattered.

I would like to share a sad story with you: I am applying with a lawyer from Toronto, and my application got ready to go Thursday October 9th .

My lawyer called a courier – Purolator – to pick up my application and take it to the CIO. The estimated date of delivery was Tuesday the 14th. I was following up Purolator's tracking every 5 minutes, and saw that since Friday no line was added after the pickup.

So Tuesday morning I called Purolator to ask where my parcel was.... And they haven't found it since! My application, with all my certified copies, original IELTS, original WES was lost!

Purolator claims the address label fell off... Officially, they are still searching, but after 3 full days I've lost hope.

I'm not really sure whose fault it was (Lawyer or Purolator), but I'm really pissed off. I have to start from scratch again...

Thank god my NOC (0013) is cool so I'll probably have time to apply in the two weeks is going to take me to get everything ready again.

Hey everybody, just a follow-up on this post.

Purolator found my application today and returned it to my lawyer.

The parcel was in really bad shape.. it was torn in a couple of places and a few elements were destroyed: pictures, money order, PCC... other documents were ok.

Purolator sent a letter apologizing so I guess it really was their fault.

So at least I won't have to do everything from scratch, just a few elements. With any luck I'll have it done by the end of the week.

Some more questions seniors, (I'll break down my original post into many posts with less no. of questions per post to be easier for you to answer):

I applied for NOC 0013 as I have my last 3 years of experience in senior management position and still. But many friends in the forum advised not to go with these senior NOCs if there is a chance to go with another one. in my case, I can go for 2281 as well. so the questions are:

- Is it ok to apply for NOC 2281 as main NOC and 0013 as backup NOC? if so, how I can do so as we have to write one NOC in the forms.

- In my original pack I have 4 ref letters, 3 of them were not in the format required by CIO, I'll be able to modify 2 of them from my previous employers, will this be ok to send new ref letters?

- Is it needed to issue a new bank statement? especially I withdrew the available cash as I'm using it for some private business.

I know it is too early to get any updates, but, I was trying to understand how do i get OR where do you get updates on ur application status? like PER received date, Payment charged, etc. Would appreciate if anyone can guide me to an earlier post that i can refer to.Many Thanks

Wish you all the best friend, 0013 is a very cool NOC but a hard one though. If you have the chance to apply for another backup NOC I think it will increase your chances. In the SS many 0013 applicants are stuck since beginning of May.

Thank you friend..So will it make any issue to re-apply for only NOC 2281? especially I got an UCI and I'm worried if they can reject the application since I changed the NOC I'm applying for.

All the correspondence will be done through the email address u provided.
With the PER u will get the payment charge date but u can check with Ur bank about payment charge
