My husband needs to get reference letter from company that has closed. He is still in contact with owner of restaurant (person that hired him). This reference letter won't have letterhead, what is the best way to make this letter, does anybody have an example? Does it need to be notarized? Original or copy? We need letter to gain more points for experience.

First of all, thanks for your efforts towards forum and all the very best for your app.

I agree updating sheet and sharing updates are the backbone for the success of this thread. I guess, you missed my point because I never said not to congratulate, or say thanks. I just said that this can be done through PMs so as to reduce number of pages. didn't get your point of PMing ashif or century.

After this post, I opt to only PM replies to this subject that we're discussing right now. I just shared my point of view of how we can keep congratulating, thanking people, still keep number of pages to minimum so that info is really available otherwise people will keep asking same questions which have been answered so many times. They ask them, because we're making it impossible for them to find those answers on this thread (leave apart some people who will anyways always ask without reading anything)

Dude!! I guess you are missing a point here. This forum is to give a sense of what's happening in CIC by collecting and updating data on a spreadsheet. Without people coming and updating their statuses we would not know exactly what happening. When you come and ask, when will my app be charged, how do you think members are able to give you a clue?

And what is the motivation for them to come and update? Congratulating is the basic thing we should give back. That feels so good and lifts spirits up..... What if they PM Ashif bhai or century bhai??

Is there VFS services to get Indian PCC in USA.?
I am Australian Citizen now, But do I still require Indian PCC because I lived there for 25 year?
Do I need to send original canceled apssport of India for PCC?

I understand your point, but I think it makes us to feel good knowing that so many people care about thers here; so many people share others happiness, and also having so many pages to read means the forum is alive and many people are here, thanks to that we have such a perfect working spreadsheet... so having so many advantages of posting Congratulations posts... I think we can deal with ... having some difficulties with searching the answers...

Few days back i had posted a query about a problem in my reference letters, I got good help from ashif,century,oscar,droslim,jsk,,thanks all so much!!.
The problem was the employment dates were wrongly put at one place in both reference letters,company A and B. though all the other additional work exp documents like joining letter showed correct dates.
Now one of the employer of company B is not ready to give me updated reference letter. i have one letter from my current employer A.
what shall i do in this case, shall i send only this one updated letter with correct date of company A or change the date in the other reference letter of company B with pen and then send a copy of it too. please advice.
Its a problem of mentioned year of my dates, it should have been 2013,but mistakenly it is 2014

And how long did they took to submit electronic report to CIC after you paid? How you were informed by WES that they sent it positively...

See i'll tell you the procedure . After paying the necessary fees WES chage the patern of your report to the FSW version . As soon as they sent a copy to you and CIC , it will be electronically available for CIC to have their reference.

I think CIC will look into your file one week after WES intimation to you even if they didn't get the copy from WES. Altogether it will take 2 to 3 additinal weeks .
