One quick question pls, I haven't applied for my 3 yr old child passport. so, is it mandatory to provide passport for your child if he is not accompanying you? Thanks in advance!
Yes. It is mandatory to provide all the listed information and documents about your children unless the Guide or Document Checklist say that particular information or document is not necessary for non-accompanying dependants. It is especially important to provide the information if you wish to sponsor him to come to Canada someday, but even if you don't wish to do so it is still required. If it is impossible to provide this information you can explain it in your application, but "I haven't applied for the passport" is not a good excuse.
