I am a 2nd July Applicant under NOC: 1123-Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations

Please guide me whether I am eligible to receive PER as I am working as a Marketing Coordinator
in a Pharmaceutical company for the last more than 4 years.

But my education is B.Sc. in Biochemistry.

Would that be okay to get eligible for FSW-2014...What are the chances..??

Dear All,

I would like to narrate my story from application preparation to PER receipt as follows,

1) Initially i have sent my application on 2-June and after 1 day, there were few minor mistakes observed and major one in fee payment form that by mistake last digit of CC couldn't appear.
2) Immediatly check the status of my application over i-net and came to know that it has reached aramex, canada office. I called that office and requested to hold the delivery and send an email to main office from where i sent my application.
3) After 2 days application received back.
4) Corrected all minor and major mistakes and send again on 12-June and it has successfully delivered at CIC on 16-June.
5) I haven't modified my roles & responsibilities 100% as described in NOC-2011, but from NOC-2011 i have carefully selected my actual roles & responsibilities for every organizations i worked for so far since last 13 years. If you can ask me, it will match ~60% with NOC-2011 for NOC code 2132 as i am working as engineering specialist in O&G organizations since begining. Salary slips for last 3 months, promotion letters, joining letter, resignation letters, roles & responsibility letters from all the organizations attached. Last three years income tax returns attached.
6) I have attached my latest CV as back-up / for additional information to CIC along with my application package.
7) Cover letter attached at the top of application.
8) All the pages left unclip in A4 size transperant plastic bound file.
9) Self calculated points table attached.
10) All the pages of my passport attached as only few left blank. For family member passports, only pages which got stamped.
11) Previous FSW 2013, my application returned due to cap filled. However, got the UCI no. and the first page from that application sent along with new application for FSW 2014.
12) 10th, 12th, Diploma engineering, Degree engineering marksheets and certificate attached but not notarized along with original WES report. Same for spouse.

Egypt applications in CPC-Ottawa...

I got my PER on 13th of Aug which till now is 62 days ago with no further progress!
I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa and they replied that my application processing time is with in "regulatory timeline"!

I did some analysis on the forum SS and found something very interesting, almost all (not all) of Egypt applications are suffering as me, other applications processed from CPC-Ottawa are processed much faster, as if CPC-Ottawa are keeping Egypt applications for late processing.....
Any one skeptical about this, can go and filter the SS by CPC-Ottawa and Cairo VO and see.

Any idea why this is happening?

I have been reading this thread for quite some time and have gained a lot of information. Thanks to everyone.
Here is my question:
I am an NOC 2173 aspirant.
My IELTS exam date is 22-Nov, so I can't send the application before Dec 8th (i.e. 13 days after IELTS date to receive the scores).
Please suggest if it will be worth applying that late? or should I wait for next year/"Express Entry"?

May be because it takes longer for Ottawa to verify your background information from Egypt? I think it makes sense. If from North America, the background investigation might take a shorter time since Ottawa has jurisdiction over applications from these regions.

Hello Seniors,

Good news, I just received Medical Request mail from my Local VO.
Just want to double check, what is the next step now.
1. Go to CIC disgnated doctor and complete the medical examination
2. pay the RPRF fees via link provided by local VO.

Please advise if I am missing any steps here.

my application reached on 7th July but still no acknowledgement letter or any kind of communication. Did anybody applied on or after 7th July received any communication from CIC?
