Which other documents can be accepted as 'NATIONAL IDENTITY DOCUMENT' apart from the PASSPORT?

Dear Experts/Seniors,

Would like to ask a question here. It may sound stupid. Since CIO is done with one of the NOCs as it has reached 1000 CAP limit. Are there chances that they'll prioritize the CC charge for rest of the NOCs as they have less work to do comparitively.

My application reached on August 25th 2014 under 2171 NOC. Not sure whether my CC would be charged around December 12th or later. I believe there will be holidays starting December 25th or before till year end.

Guy's finally I have received my PER email from my consultant today.
Actually CIC has already sent PER email to my consultant on September 17th but they didn't received the email.
My Consultant enquired in CIC & got my PER email today.

Updated the SS.

This is a good news for those paying in INR, they'll have to pay fewer INR to per dollar!

No Jaxon. That amount is fixed at Rs 26700/- per adult. Doesn't keep changing with Fx fluctuations.

Passport is not a NID. Its just a travel document.

Also, aadhaar card is not yet recognised as NID.

If from India, just enter No as India doesn't have any concrete document as yet which can be termed as NID.

DD is the safest, though 4-6 days delayed than CC, but secure
CC there are cases observed where CC declines while CIC charges, many reasons are there browse some pages related to this topic

But, if 100% sure with CC, enough limits, expiry and stuff like that, CC also no worries

Well, I am talking about CAD$550 per applicant which applicants pay before PER is issued using CC. CC is charged using the real time exchange rate. I think you are talking about the DD applicant!
