Just another Question sorry .. my agent here in australia said that they are calulating the IELTS points according to CBL levels eg if i have individual 6 atleast in all 4 modules then my points are 16 points .. I reckon the CIC website says the same thing .. but then reading a few post in this forum i found out that they calculate points the other way round.. so not sure that should i count my points as 16 or 21 ..

Just an off beat question. Read your post that you are from Australia. Could you tell us a few points you moving to canada from australia, as we are confused between the 2 countries, where to migrate Oz or Can.This may not be specific to the forum topics, but your reply would be helpful for me. No CIC won't send any mail for package received by them. You should track with the tracking number.
It will count as each and every test
Example:
L - 6.5 - 4 points
R - 7.5 - 6 points
W - 8 - 6 points
S - 7 - 6 points

Patience....Why would he hide from you, usually they take upfront fees before sending the application. Multiple dates are on, suggest you wait for this week and only after that try calling CIC. Did you consultant send any enquiry to CIC, about ur app?

My Application was received by CIC on 3rd July. I know they have reached only 26th June with CC charges, but I wanted to drop an enquiry email to CIC, so that I could get some meaningful response from them after 20 to 30 days, which is a time they generally take to respond back. I could at least save a couple of weeks this way, until they reach 3rd July
Could someone kindly provide me the email id where I need to send this query as well as what should it contain.

R u serious, It is just a matter of a week when both of your applications will be charged. I would suggest you to wait for another 10 days. After 10 days check with bank about DD encashment, if you don't get positive reply then you can write mail to CIO.

Welcome... The points will calculate for each and every test as i posted earlier and its proved by the seniors.

I see posts that NDVO already started May 22 applicants for MR, I am May 20th Applicant and ECAS is also not updated,,, Please tell me if am out of the race...

Relax mate. As i told u earlier, even i am 20th May applicant 1112..... if u notice the trend, many 1112 applications for May 5, 7 etc are still pending....infact a May 1st 1112 applicant is still waiting for MR.... Lets wait..... I understand your anxiety.... I am not able to concentrate on anything else too....

Actually Australia is getting difficult with rules i will take another 2 years for applying PR here dont wish to wait that long .. its difficult finding a good feild job here too hence applying for canada on my wife's base ..

Hi everyone

spreadsheet shows 168 applicants have applied under 2281 and 39 applicants have got PER whilst CIC TABLE shows 242 applicants have got their PER ...I think it simply demonstrates that spreadsheet shows only 1/6.2 applicants under 2281 ....in other words we can calculate 168*6.2=1041 applicants have sent their package ...
DO U THINK THIS ESTIMATION IS MORE CLOSE TO REALITY THAN spreadsheet estimation?

I am going to send my application in 7 days ( end of October) under 2281 ( computer network technician) ....since 242 applicants have applied till 9th June ....it seems risky ....do u think its better and wise ..to go and insist even plead to get experience letter from old employers under 2172 which has 73 applicants?


plz tell me what u think ..plz ..I'm so confused ...how much I can trust in spreadsheet Pessimistic estimate ? or my estimation seems more logical ?

or now which 2174 has reached its cap ....remaining applicant may try to apply under 2172 ...and the growing rate of 2172 will speed up ? on the other hand after several years 2014 was the first year for 2281 ..and it also has huge number of applicants?
