+1 for updating.

Currently SGVO is working with FSW2013 - May applicants - they have just started. As the number of applicants are not much for FSW2013, I think from the beginning of Jan, we will start getting good news if not earlier ;D ;D ;D

I've just updated the SS. Thanks so much, Century.

Does anyone know how many weeks/months/years the SGVO will process our files?

Hello everyone ,

I have two queries if anyone could please help me through it ..

1. I posted my file on last wednesday and tracked the post online and it shows that its delivered today at noon 3.15pm. I just wanted to know do we get any email which says that the post has been received .? or any confirmation.

2. Could anyone please explain how is IELTS points calculated is it according to the CBL levels eg. CBL 7 = 16 points or is it according to the each module. eg L,R,W,S they calculate the points.

Please help me out with this .. Thanks .

1. No, you will not get any confirmation of receiving your application or chagrining your credit card/demand draft. You will get email for PER (Positive Eligibility Review) email after they consider you are eligible for further processing.

2. The point is module-wise. Check here at http://www.fsw2014.info/ielts-calculator/

Hello forum members.
Unfortunately I submitted an old IM0008 form (03-2014) and they have updated the form on 06-2014. I forgot to check before I sent my application on july 8. CIC received my application on July 14.
The date on my signature on that form (03-2014) is June 30, 2014. I'm afraid that my application will be rejected because I sent my application on July 8 with the old form.
Is it possible to send an updated form? Or should I wait for the result? Thank you in advance for your reply. My NOC is 2132.
One of the forum member had made similar mistake but his cc got charged.Based on that i would say it should't be a reason for rejection/return
all the best

My Application was received by CIC on 3rd July. I know they have reached only 26th June with CC charges, but I wanted to drop an enquiry email to CIC, so that I could get some meaningful response from them after 20 to 30 days, which is a time they generally take to respond back. I could at least save a couple of weeks this way, until they reach 3rd July
Could someone kindly provide me the email id where I need to send this query as well as what should it contain.

Thanks

Century, are you serious? It would take about 1.5-2 years from now to complete the whole process then. Is there anything we can do to accelerate the processing time? How come NDVO moves so fast while SGVO moves slower than a snail.

Just another Question sorry .. my agent here in australia said that they are calulating the IELTS points according to CBL levels eg if i have individual 6 atleast in all 4 modules then my points are 16 points .. I reckon the CIC website says the same thing .. but then reading a few post in this forum i found out that they calculate points the other way round.. so not sure that should i count my points as 16 or 21 ..

thnx palak and rajesh :)

No CIC won't send any mail for package received by them. You should track with the tracking number.
It will count as each and every test
Example:
L - 6.5 - 4 points
R - 7.5 - 6 points
W - 8 - 6 points
S - 7 - 6 points
