Hi everyone
I'm under a lotttt of stress ..plz help me to decide

I am going to send my application in 7 days ( end of October) under 2281 ( computer network technician) ....since 242 applicants have applied till 9th June ....it seems risky ....do u think its better and wise ..to go and insist even plead to get experience letter from old employers under 2172 which has 73 applicants?

or now which 2174 has reached its cap ....remaining applicant try to apply under 2173 and 2172 ...and the growing rate of 2172 will speed up ? on the other hand after several years 2014 was the first year for 2281 ..and it also has huge number of applicants?

CAD 11824 is for you alone,
Your dad is not a part of your direct family (means they can visit you, but you can't take them along) so you don't have to pay for him.
Your own wife and children is what you pay for, in case you want to take them along.

and though Applications are welcomed after 31st Dec 2014 too, why would you still delay the process?

what did they call you for ?
what is your current ECAS status .. Line 3 or not ?

My timeline is

CC charged 29 Sep 2014
PER 9 Oct 2014 ( from consultant)
AOR Mail mentioned above 14 Oct 2014

will i be eligible to apply for CIC. 68 points too close for comfort...but technically, you are eligible.

I have gone through Guide 7000 and it was helpful.

Need your suggestions:

1) Dont have birth certificate :(((( (any alternative?) Secondary school certificate (10th), showing parent/parents' name and DOB
2) Funds - Bank Certificate :( - do i have to show CDE 11824 or i have to show more for my dad and other familly as guide 7000 say i have to show the amount regardless your family coming or not? Also once the bank letter received, can i use the money or the money is blocked? You have to show these funds for yourself, parents are not considered dependents, this is applicable for spouse/common-law partner. It is advisable to maintain funds throughout the process, there should be no indication that the funds are borrowed. They may require bank statements to verify the source of deposits. In addition to bank savings, EPF and pension policies are considered valid proof of investments.

Anything else i have to take care?

Read each and every section of the checklist and instruction guide multiple times before submitting, refer to the spreadsheet for the standard rejection reasons and ensure you dont miss any of those points.

Please help....

It is not known for certain, CIC (if new ministerial instructions are revised) reserves the right to over-ride any existing process. Better be safe and apply at the earliest.

If you selected Service Level: FSWP Credential Assessment in WES service package, then no issues.

No need to worry, you seem to have subscribed to the WES FSW package, the online reports are applicable to those applicants who are not subscribed to the FSW package. Atleast, this is my understanding from reading multiple posts on this topic and there have been quite a few discussions.
