Notice – Telephone Scam Alert (For those who have applied from within Canada)

October 10, 2014— Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is warning individuals of fraudulent telephone calls in which the caller identifies themselves as a CIC officer calling to collect additional personal information or asking that a fine be paid to avoid deportation.

Be aware: CIC does not contact individuals for the purpose of collecting fines or personal information to avoid deportation and NEVER asks the public to make a payment over the telephone.

Anyone who receives a suspicious call should hang up immediately and contact their local police, and report the incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501 or http://www.antifraudcentre.ca or by email at info@antifraudcentre.ca.

CIC provides tips on its website on how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud. For more information: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/protection/fraud/index.asp

Hi xxxxxxxxxx

In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, they will need to review your evaluation report through using WES's online service. In order to allow CIC to access this service, you will need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report.

If you are using the attached order form and want to pay by credit card, please fax the completed form to 416.972.9004.

Once it has been processed, an email notification for a payment request will be sent to you, you can then log into Check Status/Your Account: https://www.wes.org/appstatus/indexca.aspx and pay your balance by a credit card.

In order to expedite your order, we encourage you to pay by a credit card. Cheque payments will take longer to process and will delay your order.

Best regards,
WES Canada

I had received above email from WES on 30th Sep....But after doing FAX i have not received any mail to pay them fee for duplicate report.

Also sent emails to them but no answer.... Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

What can I do....

Please help

Is E-CAS page available for you guys?
