Hi all

Will sending additional documents effect the main application in any way. I mean will it have an impact on the application date recieved, would it be considered from the date of additional docs recieved or the main application recieved date. or they might alltogether reject the main application as sending additional documents is not there stated practise.

As reported on this forum you will not be pushed back. Your application date will remain the original one.

Hi Zizy,

This is purely my view.

Process as follows:
Completeness Check (about 6-8 weeks from receipt of file) -> Charging (10-12 weeks)-> PER (12-14 weeks) - Rest of process varies with VO.

I believe lag between completeness check and charging is one month. If June 24th is getting charged now, I think they must have probably completed completeness check till last week of july or even 1st week of august.

Question about Diploma

May 23rd applicant.
CC charged: Sept 8
PER: Sept 16
Awaiting MR

I did not submit diploma from Master's Degree with my application as it was not available then. (Attended graduation and included letter form Program Chair that I have completed the program BUT awaiting diploma to be issued.)
WES evaluated 1.5 years Canadian equivalent Master's degree even though I have a 2 years Masters Degree.
Do I need to submit the diploma at this stage? If yes, where should I send it to as CPC-O does not send AOR email.

Guys,

I have question regarding the copies of paper in the file.

My file includes many photocopies but all of them is notarized as "TRUE COPY" except 2 groups of paper:

1- Passports (which i believe no need to notarize their photocopies)
2- Letters of Reference for work experience and salary slips supporting to these LOR.

FYI, my file has been delivered at 07/29/2014 and still not in process.

Do you advise me to send original Letters of reference and salary slips to them before starting processing my file? If so, what should I send with the paper so they can match it easily with my file and add them to it?

Another question, regarding the bank certification letter required to prove the availability of settlement funds, should it be just a certificate from the bank stamped and signed stating my balance as of specific date (that what I sent already) or I have to send a bank statement for 6 months or any other period? (I did not like to attach any additional paper as per their instructions)

You look all good based on the documents that you submitted. Few points to clarify and note -

1. Reference letter - hopefully your LORs contain all the desired information and they are as per the format required by CIC. Please note that CIC has clearly requested for photocopies of LOR - their is no need to send original.
2. Passport - Notarization is required only if the document(for that matter any other document on your application package) is not in ENGLISH(or FRENCH).
3. Settlement funds - A bank certificate is good enough - there is no specific requirement for a bank statement of any period to be sent with the application. Hopefully, you have taken care to check that this is either on your or your spouse or joint between you/spouse only.

Simple rule...... "Dont fix it when it is not broken". If they ask and only if they ask...... submit it. Else, concentrate on how to get a job in Canada when you land there

thats correct . I remember a july 14th 2014 applicant's file got retured on oct 13th
