I guess you do not need ECA if you have done Masters from canada itself!

Dear Friends,

I need your HELP badly on below issue.

I have my Masters degree from UoC CANADA and Bachelors degree from PAKISTAN. Please let me know that do i need to get ECA from WES for my bachelors degree

OR will my Masters degree(from CANADA) is enough proof for CIC??

Your help in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

1) best time to inform your vo after per via case specific enquiry
2) they will send you list of required documents...
3) yes it may delay your process ...don't know how much they delay...but you can consider 3-4 months delay...

For your easy reference, to find an e-enabled clinic, I can suggest you an easier method....Since dumb CIC does not mention about the e-enabled facility of individual Medical centers on their website or on the MR email.

You can find it from the Australian immigration website. Almost 99% medical centers are same for AUS and CA designated medical examinations..... . They have clearly mention this facility on their site....(on the right side of the clinic name)

****E-enabled Medical center-->which uploads the medical results electronically via internet on individual applicant's profile. Doctors have special access in the CIC web interface for such clinic/medical centers. For normal Medical (without e-enabled medical center) u will need to take photos and this medical centers delivers results manually which causes a delay.

Make sure that you have got your WES done for both the degrees. The one from Pakistan, as well as the one from Canada.

Thanks for the reply I really appreciate, but the email seems like it comes from any cic official that's why I am very much confuse what to do here should I email him or not what do you say? I told my consultant the same that file number starts with letter E with a single alphabet but he is kept saying that you can not check the status until your file has been submitted, your file should be submitted after you provide me IELTS and police cert then you'll be able to check your status online I don't know what to do should I believe him or not.

Create a dummy email id and check if the cic email id shared by your consultant is valid or not, if you are feeling delinquent..

I do not think that will be an issue. As long as you have proper offer letter, reference letters etc, you should be good to goo.

International DD's are valid for 6 moths so need to worry about that and currently CIC has reached around 16 or 17th June regarding processing of PER. So better wait for another 2 weeks by the time you will be hearing the good news.

And till then just have a close look at the SS to see where the CIC have reached regarding the PER.

Hi, i need a clarification.
I have sent my application to CIC and courier (DFL) data shows it has been received on 26.06.14.
But still no further process.
I had sent the processing fees via DD and fear that the same would have got expired (as HDFC mentioned validity of 3 months).
Is someone out there with same situation?
Kindly suggest what to do.
Is there any way to reach out to CIC team and enquire on the same? If possible i can pay the same amount using cc immediately.

The copies as mentioned in the checklist are photocopies of original documents provided they are in English/French so there is no need for any form of notarization please.

hello everyone,

Candidates who have received MR , can they please share their experience about verification from employer . Have anyone received verification call from their local VO, if yes what they asked ? and Have any applicant gone through physical verification by VO?

A strange thing happened with my friend while verification. He was called by VO and at the same time his employer was called and their answers were matched. Luckily everything matched and yesterday he received MR.

Same mistake even my friend did and his package too returned with same description. Never ever forget to keep a copy of your degree certificate along with ECA original report while sending the package. We guys cannot bare the pain of rejection for a very silly mistake

Hi Mahe,

Sorry for the rejection of your application. Did you read the instruction guide properly and did you check the document check list? Because if you did your application would not be rejected. The CIC clearly mentioned that along with the original ECA report you have to submit your educational certificate and educational transcript.

I wanted to know that after receiving the PER and informing CIC and NDVO about pregnancy, does it delay the process of MR or the entire process.
Another thing how would I know that the file has reached the NDVO other than the ECAS status update.
