Yes, I did with the help of PER email & Doc checklist print out. App forms are available online as well as COC office and Appeal form available at COC office.

Friends.......need some help regarding the proof of funds...

1. Should we show the funds in Canadian dollars (will banks issue a statement converting local currency into Canadian dollars?)

2. My father will transfer the required amount of funds into my account within the next 7 days..I am planning to get an affidavit saying that the funds are completely transferred into my account and can be used as per my discretion (I will not be able to provide a bank statement in this case as the funds will be transferred within a week)


Friends..please suggest how should I plan to my proof of funds??

U just need bank certificate from your bank stating current balance in your account ( in your local currency)

24th June charged .. one application .....
CIC should work on monday coz its not a holiday in Sydney Nova Scotia...... So nothing to worry hopefully...!!

You can show the funds in any currency equivalent to the amount of Canadian dollars you need to show for POF. (include current conversion rate) I would suggest to transfer at least 200$ more than required just in case.
Get a letter from you father with his authorization.
The most important fact is that, if the local VO asks for six months of bank transactions, you should be able to show it.

You question is tough one. How can CIO have work because of holiday? That's insane! ;D

If you mean, WILL CIO work on 13th of Oct, then answer is NO. CIO employees are also like normal citizens of Canada, they get holiday when rest of the nation gets it too!

Its a holiday in Canada except NS... CIC is based out of NS >.. nova scotia ... so people can expect them to work .... nothing wrong with that ...

2174 -- CAP update will definitely solve some of the mysteries, whether that was based on CC charged or based on Completeness check but one thing sure that they gave a clear message not to send any application for this NOC.

My take: it's based on the completeness check!!!
Reason: why on earth would they check completeness if they already crossed 1000 applications, they can check 1100-1200 considering 100-200 may get NER or Payment issues.

I'm still hoping it was till 2nd week of July...

We'll get to know very soon... All the very best for folks after 19th jun in this NOC!!!

I agree, coz.. the column name says "Number of completed applications counted towards 1000 cap". If the count would have been based on PER then I think the column name should be something like '"Number of Eligible applications counted towards 1000 cap"..
