Sorry bro, that's going to be a very tight call as CAP has already crossed 800 & currently they are approving PERs for June 10/11 applicants.

2172 (DBAs & Informatica guys) will be open for a long time. You may refer the duties listed for this NOC and see if you can reapply for this NOC.
If your original application get approved then you can stop your second application from processing.

I don't want to give you a false comfort on 2174, given the estimations that's going to be tough!!!

My application was received on 23 rd May , I got the PER mail on 15th Sept.
As on 23rd May my experience was ( 5 years 9 months and 15 days - ie 2.5 months less for 6 years) for claiming 15 points.
But today my experience is 6 years and 2 months. I want to understand if they will count my experience on the date they received my application or they will take till date's experience or they count the experience when the CC was charged.

please I need ur advice, if you could help me. I had submitted my FSW 2014 apper NOC 1113 in July 2014. But by mistake I send wrong IELTS SCORE SHEET. I HAD 2 IELTS SCORE SHEETS.I sent the wrong ielts, which is less score of 6.5. I don't make 67 points with score. Can I send my second Ielts score sheet as additional document separately to add to my original application in july 2014.

Grave mistake indeed! The only thing you could do is (as you figured out urself) send it as an additional document with cover letter mentioning your identification details like passport number, your full name, DOB, UCI (if u have) ..etc.. to the same address that you sent. :-X

It should be the same for the "regular" CAP.

Honestly, It does not matter. Once you received your PER, number of years of experience is secondary. The criteria is you need to have a minimum of 67 points - getting more than 67 points does not help you in any way. Getting your PER means you met the criteria and your points equaled 67 or more. Cheers!

:-X experience on the date they received your application (why bother you got your PER... unless you are habituated to get better rank than the rest )

I agree. They should'nt have taken the fee if we did not meet the minimum points required.

This fee sort of pays for their work that consists in determining eligibility. Whatever the result, they do the review, and they are payed on hourly basis for that. That's why they have a two stage fee collection process. This system remains the same with all government services around the world and it's hundred percent justified.

I strongly believe that the latest CAP update we have seen appear on the CIC site contains the figures they had on Monday, but sort of forgot to publish. Next week we'll see if my theory stands true.

I'm following CIC page for CAP updates for more than a month and never looked at this section (PHD), had they always mentioned some date in this section?
Might be a silly question but interesting for me!!!

Good catch Sir ('3rd Oct'), do you remember what it was when they updated CAP last time (on Sept 30)?

There's a special section in the SS called CIC caps that collects all info on that. Please, give it a look. My take is that statistically they have maintained the processing speed of 500 PERs a week for quite a while now (it must be connected with this designated completeness check task force that gets rid of IRPA 10 non-compliant applications allowing the adjudicating officers to deal only with complete applications), and will likely continue to do so.
