Where you currently residing, from that place apply for PCC.

For example:- My wife is from patiala and we are living in Gurgaon from last 3 years. Her passport is issued from Chandigarh.

We apply through online application on Passport website.

Passport office will transfer the case to Ppolice department (Where your currently residing).

Police will do verification where you currently residing and at your home town and will revert back to passport office. Afterwards Passport office will send an sms to you that your PCC is ready. The whole process will take only 7 to 10 days.

Dont delay do it. Its simple. APPLY ONLINE and VISIT the PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA (PSK)

Chances are very slim.

Risk can be insufficient points (67 or less), or JD not matching NOC.

Thanks Goku, I have 70 points and my JD matches the one in NOC
This is weird, I thought that they charge CC after they verify above requirements

Hi All,

Am planning to apply under 2172. Am aware that am quite late , but as per CIC update < 100 is filled up so far for 2172. Am rite now readying up all the necessary docs and planning to send it around oct 25, hoping that I can make it within the cap. Or am i late?

I have a doubt. My company doesn't provide job duties on company letterhead. But I have got experience letter on company letterhead which has my designation and date of joining and address. But job duties they don't provide on company letterhead. wat shall I do. Can I get my job duties written on plain A4 sheet and get it signed by my supervisor?
Will that be accepted by CIC [or] I should provide an affidavit having my job duties and signed by both supervisor and notary public ?

Which is the right way to do?

If I didnt submit my job duties in company letterhead , will that lead to rejection ??

Note: I have worked only in one company so far .

They charge CC after determining where your application is complete or not. If application found complete then they charge CC.

After CC/DD charge, they do eligibility check & background check. If you pass it you will receive PER.

check out https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=

Please read carefully and understand stages of application specially 2nd line update applicants

What are the chances of rejection even after CC charged?

Not many. Not getting 67 point or job duties insufficient compared to the specified NOC are the most common I think.
