Guys I have a doubt. My husband's birthplace is Indore and the place of issue of his passport is BHOPAL (madhya Pradesh). However, he has been living here for the past 14 years. Where do we get the PCC from? Delhi or Bhopal?

Where you currently residing, from that place apply for PCC.

For example:- My wife is from patiala and we are living in Gurgaon from last 3 years. Her passport is issued from Chandigarh.

We apply through online application on Passport website.

Passport office will transfer the case to Ppolice department (Where your currently residing).

Police will do verification where you currently residing and at your home town and will revert back to passport office. Afterwards Passport office will send an sms to you that your PCC is ready. The whole process will take only 7 to 10 days.

Dont delay do it. Its simple. APPLY ONLINE and VISIT the PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA (PSK)

Congrats isud.. It is perfectly fine.. :)

I have couple of questions. Kindly help me.

1. I recevied this from an email id (Do not reply-Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca)
2. We are 3 applicants (My daughter, wife and myself)
3. We received 3 different emails for medical request for all 3 of us.
4. I see 3 different UCIs for all 3 of us

Below is the email draft and they attached a medical form in the mail.

Congratulations, but I'm curious what exactly your questions are? You are 3 applicants, so you got 3 UCI's and 3 MRs. What's your question? I'm sorry I'm a bit dumb here.

What exactly is your query ?? I see none.

Print that IMM1017 (Medical Form) for each one of you. Check whether all information is correct.

Call Physicians office, book an appointment, complete you medical.

P.S. Select PP who are e-medical enabled.

Hi Goku - My queries are below (May be I am stupid to ask such silly questions)

1. I recevied this from a different email id (Do not reply-Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca). But i read in this forum about another mailid (newdelhi....)
2. We are 3 applicants (My daughter, wife and myself) so we received 3 different emails for medical request for all 3 of us. Is that usual?
3. I see 3 different UCIs for all 3 of us. Is that the case for all?
4. Does any NDVO applicant received only MR (No PCC, payment, etc)

You can take the PCC from any passport office across India, it will be valid..The only things that are noteworthy are listed below

1-If you take the PCC from the same city from where the passport was issued AND you have been living on the same address (the one which is mentioned on your passport), you DO NOT need fresh police verification. Which in turn means that you get the PCC with 3-4 hours, the day you visit your passport office

2- If you try to obtain the PCC from some address/some city which is different from the address/city mentioned on your passport, you will have to undergo fresh police verification before you obtain your PCC and this process would take 15 to 30 Days.

That is about it. Hope it helps.

urgent.. Need help...
My husband says our application was

received on 16th may 2014 ...
CC charge date - 26 August 2014
PER recvd - 1st week of sept .. I don't have that date..
Visa office - New Delhi

He's travelling for work so I am trying to keep a track of mails from CIC..

I have a few questions ... Seniors and other knowledgeable people here on the forum plz help..

1. Job changed in August and we shifted to bangalore (company changed , our location changed)

2. I would also join my husband on his work trip to Europe soon.. If I get a mail in between asking for medicals
CAN I GET THE MEDICals DONE FOR ME, MY HUSBAND and DAUGHTERS in Europe ?
Or to be specific Amstedam where we would be staying for a month or so....???????

If yes , where do I then send the medicals ..as in which Canadian visa office ? Delhi or Amsterdam ?

When and how, And do I need to inform about the address change ? Would that affect my application...?

not sure where you will be based out of. Bangalore or Amsterdam? And do you want a change in VO? If yes you will need to request Ndvo.

Irrespective of VO, medicals can be done from anywhere in the world through authorised panel physicists. They will send the reports directly to your selected VO.
