How long does NDVO take to reply to emails?

Don't know how long, but after getting PER via case specific inquiry I provided updated passport details and asked for whether i submit updated travel document due to our trips we had.
However after a week even no reply from them.

Not to worry. Would not make a big difference to the results unless there has been major complications which might lead to their "Excessive Medical Attention Required"

I would also suggest to try and delay you Medicals until your plaster is removed. Delay to a reasonable extent not too much.

I saw a case today in which a person's file rejected after CC charged.

Where did you get the PCC done, and what does it states.
If you have got your PCC done in Ggn and it only covers your the duration of stay in Ggn then it will good to request the PCC authority to have clarification checks done from Mumbai and Pune

DUDE WHAT ARE TALKING ABOUT??? Seriously.....
How many PCC have you got. Please do not just give opinions, only share info based on personal experience.

Can't remember anyone reported request for proof of fund from NDVO.

There is one who has to appear for interview.

99% you will receive PER after CC/ DD charged.. but yes there are few exceptional cases for the same..
