wanted some help here.Regarding payment of fee, do you guys suggest to do it via online of DD ? if its a DD will it still be under the name of Receiver general of Canada ? does it need to be sent to canada address or NDVO address ?

Its your wish...you can opt for cc or dd...
If you are interested for dd you can go.for receiver general or Canadian high commission... Bvz both are payable at new delhi...
Go.for Canadian high commission... Do check the link that you might have received in the mail from ndvo...

Congratulation and +1 for updating spreadsheet.

Get the PCC from any one of these 3 cities. One country, one PCC.

Hello Asmita,

Can you share your PCC. I want to look at the document and How it will be given. Other wise please share the content on PCC. I too have the same problem . I lived in 3 different cities but in same state. Do i need to take three PCCs? or 1 is enough.

You need to just wait.. No one knows internal process..

I received my MR today morning. I have updated the spread sheet.

I was also asked to send the latest Schedule 1 and Schedule A. The exact words are as below -

"A separate and newly completed Schedule 1 Background Declaration form. Please provide us with updated Schedule A for your spouse and complete Question 6 (g)"

I have looked at 6(g) in Schedule A. It asks "Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever used, planned or advocated the use of armed struggle or violence to reach political, religious or social objectives?" I checked my spouse's application which I submitted and I had checked a "No" for this question.

Is there anybody else who got the same thing mentioned along with their MR request? Is this normal?

Hey prasad..

Only 1 PCC for one country.. Obtain it from where you are currently living..

On average wait around 43 days to know the 2nd line of ECAS update. Pls check "Avg Process Time" tab in the spreadsheet.

Anyone Who have taken Indian PCC share the content of the certificate or share the document to have an idea.

Here I was asked to provide all the addresses with proofs where I lived after 18 Years. Hence do I need to provide all of them? or present address is enough?

I have received PMs from some members asking for format of cover letter. So I thought it'd be good to re-share the (edited version of) cover letter which I shared a while ago, I think it could be useful for some of forum members.

Refer to above ......As far as NDVO is concerned no visa had been issued/reported yet. So difficult to estimate timeline.

Good luck ..... happy waiting

The format of PCC is fixed by the issuing authority. You can't change it.

You will need only 1 PCC from a particular country regardless how many places you have lived.
