Hi Friends,

I am not a regular visitor of this forum. Is it possible to know by some way, what date applicant is being DD charged? My applicant received date is 20th july. I have not checked with my bank if DD has been charged or not ? Pls do help

My brother in law got his CC Chargered. Application receiving date 24th June 2014. It seems as if CIC has started working fast or there is less inflow in the month of June.

Congrats to your brother in law. Are you sure date is 24th June.

You know what it really isn't the wait that is bothering me all that much. I just wanna understand the criteria. As far as the background check etc. is concerned wouldn't that only be done once the start processing the application and therefore shouldn't the second line on ECAS be updated according to application date rather than any other criteria.

I truly understand the killing wait...well, all I can say is that some LVO cases including myself have received second line update after 35-40 days from date of receipt of PER...some might take longer if there is any background check/slow case officer..keep yourself relaxed since there is nothing in your hand at the moment!! Pray to GOD & stay blessed..!

My spouse wears a headscarf very religiously. Are headscarves allowed in CIC photos? If photo is showing face, forehead & ears and just hair are covered, will CIC be ok with it. Has anyone's application been rejected due to headscarf in photo? I have seen the Visa requirements photo guide & according to that headscarves are allowed. So looking for some clarity regarding this issue. Thanks.

I have read this in CIC that this would not be a problem. They mentioned "If you must wear a head covering for religious reasons, make sure your full facial features are not obscured."

hello seniors,

I have small doubt in BG form mother surname at the time of birth? if that is at the time of birth what we have to mention in additional family information same surname or present surname.

If I mention surname if mother at the time of birth that is difftrent in my Birth certificate it shows my mother surname is same as my father surname.

Any problems if its diffrent.
Please suggest

Citizenship & Imm FSW - charged money to my account. To be precise Rs. 69321.66, A HUGE SUM I must say....

Though this is for the first time...I am happy after paying this huge sum from my card...
