I never heard that only DD will be returned... Pls check with your consultant..and I wonder how your consultant will have that info at first place?

As per my understanding and knowledge, international DDs have a validity for 6 months(unless and until, otherwise stated explicitly 3 months on the DD) . I got conformation from HDFC bank

Thanks

thnx for speedy reply ..
Actually my consultants are canada based immigration co. ..so they get any information at first hand ...
They just asked for DD updation
What I think is, They might not have sent your application yet.! And maybe asking for DD update as they want to send it now! Just a Guess!

You need to be very careful....something sounds fishy...your consultant might have botched up your case and DD seems to be an excuse.

Hi. My application was also received on 19th June. And, I got a message from my CC about the deduction few minuets back :D.

Could you please guide me with how much more time would be taken from here on for completion of the process?

Hi Friends,

I'm new to this forum and 6thAugust applicant. Realized from this forum that Xth certificate from India is not accepted as birth certificate. I was looking for the thread which details with the steps for sending additional documents and couldn't find the main one. Seniors could you please re-post the steps and any risks in sending additional documents which might push my application date to new docs received date? I saw this point mentioned in a thread, is there a case where this happened?

Thank u very much.

There are nearly 400 applications received prior to 15th of June waiting for the CC to be charged / DD to be encased!

That's a fairly large number, lack of communication from CIO about the applications still waiting to be charged is worrying!

If this is how they work in Canada, then it'd be lot more challenging to migrate over there.

Hey, I like your signature, how can I set mine up?

Hi

I am currently in Canada, recently completed my Masters and residing in Quebec.
I am looking to apply for FSW under NOC 2241 (Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians) as I do have 13 months of working experience as Radio Frequency Engineer.

I need to know the following.

1. Is it safe to apply for FSW under NOC 2241. And does any one has any idea about the cap for this particular NOC
2. Since I am living in Canada, I have been told by a friend of mine that If I apply for FSW I be getting PNP and not FSW
3. I am residing in Quebec, would it be having any effect on my FSW application. However I don`t wish to stay and live in Quebec once I get my PR

Thanks

i believe job title is not an issue if the job responsibilities match for the entire 6 yrs period for her experience.

good luck and hurry up.. !!

Hello..

I just want to ask what would be the equivalent points for this working experience.

My wife will soon file an application for NOC 1212 as Cost Supervisor.
However, her title from her previous job does not match any of those lists under 1212 but her main duties or job can still be considered under this category.

For the timeline;
2010-present Cost Supervisor
2008-2010 Department Supervisor

Total working experience: 6yrs

Will CIC consider Cost Supervisor (4yrs) working experience only? In this case, we will have only 13pts.
Or will they will also consider also her previous job (6yrs total)? ???

Thank you very much,

My assumption is they might have done some major mistake n ur application and got ur file back. now they want to send it back with a new DD....why cant u send an email to cic asking status of your file?
