HI SENIORS

Finally, I got my PR today thanks to the very useful info I had from this forum.
However, I need your kind feedback for my issue.

When I initially applied for the FSW 2014, I had applied for a study visa at the same time.
However, I didn't get my Study Visa until the end of July.
Accordingly, and as I had no idea about the outcome of the Study Visa then.
I have submitted all my FSW app in June with my old address in my country & choosed my local Visa office as the processing office.
Now I'm in Canada for my study program, I know I should inform CIC with the latest updates.
Is it a got time to do so or I should wait to a later stage.

I tried to check the online change address service but it has only two options In Canada & Outside Canada.
Anyway it won't be suffiecient as I need to change the Visa office not just the address.

Appreciate your help.

Congratulations and best wishes for your career in Canada

No it won't. If you have attached salary slips or your salary is mentioned in any other letter such as offer letter/appointment letter than its fine

Thank you for your quick help, varuen, but the thing is the reference letter is all I provided, I didn't give offer letter or other materials, do I still have any chances?

Do you reckon it is good? Why would they not have enough nos to show if they have so many applications with them?

I reckon is it not a good sign. Even when they have so many apps, there is a definite slow down in pace. Does that mean that they have reduced the staff as the initial flow of apps reduced?

How is it going. Think of it this way, last couple of week they were processing 500+ apps. Now may be its gone down to 250, so they are just shy of putting that number on the web.

Also, another scenario is that the IT guy is from sub continent and took a long leave for the puja or eid. :P :P :P :P

I am doing good. Thank you for asking. How is it going for you?

Why do you reckon that apps processed last week would go down to 250? They didnt have any holidays? Do you reckon that CIC has outsourced initial app processing to sub-continent?

Sorry, I am not aware of how CIC operates.

Thank you for clarifying.

NOC is Canada's National Occupational Classification. You have to check under what category you fall [check at www5(dot)hrsdc(dot)gc(dot)ca)]

This year's NOC List include following IT occupations:

2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
2173 Software engineers and designers
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants
2281 Computer network technicians
2172 Database analysts and data administrators

TOP 2 occupations are really HOT this year and chances are bleak .... so if you fall under any other occupation category you can go ahead (still there is no guarantee that you will fall under this year's 1000 Cap)

Yeahh it seems 2173 and 2174 are really hard to make it now, what about 2171 it also seems to be fit for regular software developer can I try on this
