Nothing to worry. Please proceed as told. Many people here have reported this kind of message.

Thank you for the reply. What does this mean CIC has considered the application.... As he's on border line and his self calculated score is 67.

1. No difference if both the parties in the joint account are dependents (spouse /partner) and applying for PR.
2. I remember having read CIC says if it is joint account, "should be with the accompanying dependent applicant (spouse/partner) for PR"...So if spouse is not traveling, even that joint account doesn't qualify, unless you have an affidavit showing the percentage share of ownership of the two, with both signed and notarized. Still, the minimum required as Settlement Funds for evaluation will be based on FAMILY SIZE including all the dependents, accompanying or not.
3. & 4. I don't have information.

Request other seniors / first hand experienced forum members to share.

all the best!

Thank you very much trk1. I believe I have also read a post here where a user posted an e-mail inquiry to NDVO regarding joint account with others which they don't accept. I wish they (CIC) would be more clear with the rules in POF and cite examples.

I hope somebody here could attest rejection or questioning at the interview level regarding this.

If I remember correctly, this is a result of choosing the wrong evaluation package. This is not to say, the ECA is not valid, it is just that you did not subscribe to the FSW package.

Difficult buddy. SS estimates that already it might be capped. If you have any other option like a different NOC that you can apply under, try that. Else, I would say, please take a call.

Good Luck!!

What is happening? No CAP Update Announcement from CIO for this week?

No cap update is good and as expected. Since the number of application has decreased from mid June they don't have a solid figure to publish.

Ofcourse, you can and if you are not in any of top NOCs, I say you should apply without a second thought.

What do you think is the noc under which you are eligible to apply?

Hi,

My details are as below.

App. Filed.......: 20 May 2014
AOR Received.: 23 May 2014
PER (Nomination): 15 Sep 2014
VO: New Delhi

I have some questions:
1.When should I expect ecas status update and MR?
2.I had sent Indian PCC for both I and my husband. But My husband stayed in london for 4 years. We did not have his PCC at that time. But now we have obtained his PCC from UK as well. Will NDVO ask for the missing PCC only or we have to send indian PCC again?

Do you reckon it is good? Why would they not have enough nos to show if they have so many applications with them?

I reckon is it not a good sign. Even when they have so many apps, there is a definite slow down in pace. Does that mean that they have reduced the staff as the initial flow of apps reduced?
