It is high time you contacted CIO to get an update on the status of your application.

I agree with @DiplomatRU but I think CIO has a responsibility here too. They hold valuable documents with them. I think CIO should notify people upon receipt of an application as well as upon return of the same. If they don't keep people informed about a major action such as returning an app, it puts people in a lot of jeopardy!

A query about form of ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION (5406) which is to be filled by me and my spouse.
In Section A the first line says "Relationship" and under it is written Applicant (I am the principal applicant). My confusion is when filling me wife's form do I write her name next to the applicant section or should I write my name in that place even though the details are of my wife's family?
In your wife's form, applicant should be your wife & your name should come under spouse.
Hope it helps.

I'd even doubt that! I think even CIO isn't able to handle the workload and it's making silly errors, such as returning file for expired IELTS results even when file reached CIO before the expiry of the IELTS TRF!

They are hugely underpowered and act within a framework largely unchanged since 1970s. The Australian DIAC is light years ahead of it in terms of regulations, convenience, processing speed and stuff. But the whole process is about 5 times as expensive as FSWP. So in the long run we get what we are paying for.

Hi
I applied for PR in Canada previously under the old system. when CIC asked for updated documents my representatives told me just 4 days before the deadlines and this way my application was closed without submission of the documents. Could you please advise me on the following doubts?

- Now I am refiling the application under FSW program and I found that few of the details (for e.g. DOB and place of birth of mt mother) given in my previous application were wrong. Can I correct the details in the new application?

- I have been told that I need to submit copies of the ration card as a proof of our family tree but the age details given in the ration card are not correct. Will it create any problem in processing of my application?

_ What other document I can submit as a proof of family tree?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Warm Regards

You should order an original WES report ASAP and send it to CIO. Someone's file was returned because they sent a duplicate report from WES.

The WES report details about your degree is the same on an original and a duplicate. The only difference is that the duplicate report will have the words DUPLICATE printed on it.

Hello everyone!! Please could you help me?

My application was received JUly, 24th 2014. But unfortunately, I just realised I might have sent the Duplicate WES assessment certificate, for clarity, i did not photocopy the document rather I ordered for duplicate which I am thinking I had sent, I did not see any difference among the documents but my attention was drawn to this fact when some one recently posted that he got his application back due to sending 'wes assessment duplicate' instead of the original. i never knew they were different, all looked the same

please what should I do right now? I tried as much as possible to do every thing right, but this makes me feel really bad. I will appreciate your advice.

Dear members, does anyone have any idea what the doctors check in the blood sample of the applicant while going through medical test?

Already contacted CIO on Oct. 5 but no reply yet to date. Perhaps the delay was attributed to some issues of my application, as follows:

1. My one year work experience in an eligible occupation ceased in October 2003.
2. IELTS expired end of May 2014 although application was received middle of the month

I'm frustrated and losing hope.
