Need Expert Opinion

I am a June 10th applicant under NOC 1112, and intend to submit a second application under NOC 1114. However, I noticed a problem with the dates of my employment for NOC 1114, if I submit the application this week, I will still run short of continuous 1 year criterion by 19 days. The minimum work experience requirements as per CIC is as follows:

B) Minimum requirements
Work experience
If your application is eligible to be processed, we will then assess it to see if your work experience, as described above, is valid.
Your work experience must be: at least one year (1560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time.

Can i interpret this to mean that if I have more than 1560 hours, I will still qualify? As per CIC full time means 30 hours per week, I have worked 45 hours a week, therefore, even if I am short by 19 days, I have still clocked more than the required 1560 hours.

Appreciate a comment from the experts.

Answering my own question for the benefit of anyone in a similar situation. I did some online research and the conclusion is that a minimum of 1560 hours must be accumulated within a period of 12 months or 1 year. I also came across a post that a 2013 forum member received PR despite being 10 days short. I will submit a second application and hope for the best. Thanks and best of luck to all.

As my sister application received back due to mismatch in NOC duties in 2174. I want to know if I resend today with some amendments what are chances of getting accepted. I'm going to send from India today. Also for last application they issued UCI no. will it useful or give some preference Huh??

Hi All

According to the courier, my application was received by CIC on 22nd Sept. However, i havent received an email notification and no payment has been deducted from my card.

Is hope this is normal? when can i expect a formal acknowledgement from them?

First communication from cio will be PER. You will have to wait for 100-120 days to hear from cio.

Meanwhile Happy waiting ....
Please update SS if you haven't yet. Link is in my signatures.

For all we know, 2174 will not be available for applicants post August, and this is a very conservative estimate. I would strongly recommend you try for a different NOC (if applicable).

Weren't there any news yet on your June 10 applic?

No, Daniel, no news yet. Hence, applying under 1114 as a back-up.

Congrats :)

Can you please share medical request email received from LVO, and did you sent you any forms like Immigrant summary etc along with MR email?

Thank you

Thanks.

They didn't asked for PCC or RPRF in this mail. This mail contains only forms for medical.

Good luck.

Bro, Same here, my application got delivered on 1st October but we need to wait till all in queue before us had their CC/DD charged.
We won't hear from them untill they take money from us.

Cheers,
Vik
