best reference for content of reference letter is IMM5612E-check list.

Letters must be:
• written on company letterhead,
• signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
• show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses,
• stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).

Letters must include all of the following information:
• the specific period of your employment with the company,
• the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time you spent in each position,
• your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
• your total annual salary plus benefits in each position, and
• the number of hours worked per week in each position.

Additional supporting documents may include:
• copies of work contracts, and
• copies of pay stubs.
 
Hi Friends,

I have sent my docs (including RPRF receipt, PP copies and PCC) and they have been received by NDVO on 3rd October. I have one question from all those who have sent these documents long time back or have already received the PPR, How do we come to know that our RPRF payment has been attached with our file?

I am asking this because when we make RPRF payment there is no info regarding our file number so I am little confused that in case NDVO misses the documents sent by us and they later blame us of not sending the docs. I want to avoid any such (although rare) scenario and want to check if it is possible to check the link between fee receipt number and our file.

One possible solution I can see is ECAS, where we can choose receipt number as selection but it doesn't work for me. Can you guys please check?

I think NDVO is mainly concentrating on 2174, 2173 NOC codes first Hence other NOC's shall wait for some more time.

One of my experience letter have not mentioned detailed Job description. I send whatever written on it to NOC-CNP for clarification. Today i received a reply from them. in order to evaluate my NOC number they need more detailed JD.

Is this alarming???

If you get this message from CIO then you are lucky..
Yes this is alarming..
If your experience letter have not enough detail about your job duties. and you are calculating that period towars your total points.. then it is alarming.. however if you can get 67 points without that experience then you don not need to worry..

I am saying this from personal experience.. last year i got refusal letter after getting PER, due to this reason only that my experience certificates didn't have detailed job description.

This are the usual comments i got from my consultant for reference letters:

Annual salary should be detailed by each position
Try to ensure that your positions match with the sample positions on the selected NOC description
Be abosultely sure that duties on the ref letter match about 80% the duties of your selected NOC
