Hi,
I have a simple question
Wanna to know for CC payment, what is the payee name
is it "receiver general for Canada" or something else?

Wanna to inform my bank before they charge to make sure things will go smoothly

Thx a lot

In my case, the merchant name for the CC charge was CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS

Hi guys I worked from oct, 2004 to Dec 2008. And after that I been to England for further studies. Im not working at the moment . So does it will effect me ??
Please suggest..

The fact that you are not employed at the time of applying for Canadian immigration under the foreign skilled worker program doesn't affect the chances of getting permanent residence as long as your present proof of full-time paid employment for the duration of at least one year under one of eligible NOC occupations within the last 10 years.

So you mean i can proceed further with my application ??

For JOb2, you have service certificate. I guess it wont have duties mentioned in it. if that is true than you need to provide those in reference letter in order to claim points for that experience(evenif it is not your NOC but has to be certain skill level to get points). If you dont bother about that then you are good to go.

Thanks Andy .. I guess I am not concerned about Job 2 as I couldnt get a reference letter and then I though about leaving it as it is .. this job was 7-8 years back for 12 months and its going to take a lot of time to identify where my Manager would be now..

Its OK if they count my experience without this job .. I have 80+ points ..

Should I be worried for anything else on this aspect apart from this?

Yes u can. All the best!

I will be filing my case in this week for NOC 2133. What are the chances that i will come in the CAP??

Seeing the present trend, 2133 is not a Hot NOC as only 200 seats are filled so far.

Experts, Pls comment.

I hope the fee payment form doesn't need to be signed or dated if we are using a DD?

Any idea regarding this?

Dear Admins
I have a suggestion. Many visa offices have an initial step before sending medical requests which is "Document Update" request. I think it would be great if you could add two new date columns in the spreadsheet, so applicants can enter the date of the "Document Update" requests and the date in which new documents were sent by applicants.
What do you think?

Is there any applicant who got document update email from Paris VO without medical request? How long does it take to get medical request after submitting requested documents?

It seems they have a rotation principle there. The guys that received packages in May stopped appearing on the SS in August and so on.

If that is the case, then it is reasonable to assume each of them has his plate full!!
