Hi,

As per the current scenario, CIC is taking 4 months to charge DDs. In case DD does not get charged within 6 months validity period, should an applicant get the DD re-validated in a hope to get charged or should he/she withdraw that DD and get money back?

Were there any cases from last year in which CIC took more than 6 months to charge any DD?

Re-posting :(

No, according to statistics the fee charge waiting period neither exceeded nor will exceed 100-120 days.

Thanks for reply +1 to you :)

Its different. You may consult your bank to set the Daily limit for foreign currencies

Wow, both at the same time. This definitely proves true what was said about applying in more than one NOC. Congrats on getting PER. Now you will have to withdraw one after they reach the VO. You could probably withdraw the more "Hot" one to free up the space for a prospective applicant.

Withdrawal of applications free up the CAP after PER?

Questions?

1. I had a UCI number for study/work permit and visitor visa but for FSW-14 my wife is the principal applicant. Will my UCI number be used for her as well?
2. For funds, bank certificate only mentioned the funds in local currency. Does it need to be in CDN$?

Bank sets Credit limit for a client and informs them, this is something the client should know. Also keep in mind the following:

1- Many banks have online security windows in which online transactions can take place so make sure yours is well open for CIO to charge it.
2- Online foreign currency limit is mostly $500, SO MAKE SURE your Credit Card is VIP marked, for over $500 online transactions. Inform them well in advance that there will be an online transaction of $_____ which is important to be entertained!
3- Make sure your CC is valid/unblocked/has credit limit and not expired/expiring in another 3-6 months.

1. For your wife it will be different as she is the principal applicant , not you.

2. Local currency is fine
