I've just got my passport with the visa!
I still need to do some preparations and I hope to land in Vancouver in about 1-2 months.

I had earlier informed the forum that my application of 8th May was returned due to insufficient details in job reference letter.
I succeeded in getting my company HR to give me the letter in the correct format after getting my Manager to approve the duties and responsibilities I drafted to align with the NOC template.
New application was delivered yesterday Oct 2nd at 10:38 am, received by M. KRSZWDA.
With the reducing rate in applications received, I believe my application will still meet up before the cap for NOC 2132 is reached. At least, I am very sure the reason for initial rejection has been fully taken care of.
I patiently look forward as I follow CC/DD cashments, PER, MR & PR mails of others.

Could you tell me if you sent other documents like work contract with your first application to cover the lack of details in the reference letter?
I have a similar problem as I couldn't get the experience letter in the required format, but I wrote a cover letter explaining that all required details are mentioned in the work contract and attached a copy of it with the application.
Based on your experience, do you think what I did will work?
I hope you success in the second application.

PER : Not recd so far ..

Cant say about any problem, all I could figure is that we have shown Fixed Deposit as POF. FD got mature on 18th sept and funds came in normal account, seems 15th - 20th sept were those dates when "28th may" applications were screened. Seems Sheer Bad Luck, if this is the reason for rejection.
Didnt got application back as yet !!!!

I don't think so my friend. I got all my money withdrawn from my account and invested it in stocks but I still received PER. Stay cool and expect your PER soon

Does anybody know how many (number or %) applicants were asked to show up for an interview and how many of them had their employment details cross checked by visiting their office?

I think if VO personally shows up at someone's office to cross check employment details, then it'd be embarrassing! People in the office may feel like it's a criminal investigation going on!

Any applicants from NDVO, who received MR could let me know from which mail id the MR comes? I am may 12th applicant and got PER on 22nd Aug. Still waiting for MR.

Also, any applicant on or after 12th May received MR?

FD getting mature is no reason of rejection. It means the available funds have now moved from one type of deposit account to another deposit account.

Based on your payment mode, do you have any info on CC charge or DD encashment?

Finally guys i got the last piece of paper added to my file today and managed to sent it. the IELTS for me and my wife just releases today and thanks god that they were okay

now hoping i will reach the 2281 CAP and my file is complete as i reviewed it 4 times

what a day ! i will update the SS once the file get delivered

Called bank, before these holidays they said "NO" DD is still outstanding ..
or there may be a reason, that "three months Valid" stamp was there on DD, Which i suppose should not be a reason for rejection either, other than these two I could not figure out any other reason ....
