Finally decided to enroll in the SS though I have not finished gathering all the necessary docs yet. My NOC is 4011 and I knew about the available of this NOC and this forum about 6 weeks ago. Thanks for all the info here. Just got my IELTS result today and WES report is done and on the way back. Still need a few documents from the police then get them translated and notarized though. Hopefully I will be able to send my package in a week.

After 10+ years in IT, I have worked in a variety of roles and can fit into 2171, 2173 and 2174. If I apply under 2171, and get the PR, will it limit my chances of finding a job under 2174 later? I mean, is the noc hard coded to your PR or is there some mechanism to force you only into 2171 jobs? Or are there any legal consequence of switching nocs later? Most service companies dont have well defined roles and a typical senior architect's role will span all 3 noc.

I am planning to submit by Aug 5th. Since 2174 is hot, I feel 2171 gives me the best chance.

I got back my file yesterday. I was too depressed to post yesterday. June 24 applicant. I had originally sent a copy of my ECA report then I sent the original after but they didn't attach it to my file even though I had a UCI number.

CIO letter dated Sep 24 and received package back on Oct 1

NOC 2281. What are my chances now?

My friend and his wife are applying under fsw. Husband is the primary applicant and crosses 67 points without spouse ielts. Can someone answer this ?

No need for Spouse IELTS scores if she is not the Primary applicant and as you said the husband himself has 67 points so they are good to go.

Century bhai, this is not the only instance. I've seen the efforts to mislead people have increased in the last few days. Some of them may be just mistakes, while others are not.

HELP NEEDED URGENTLY

Hi Guys I think I got it all wrong

My application was not returned because of the state dated cheque alone (which I check with bank and they said its valid for one yr )

The Letter from CIC states 'A review of your application indicates you do not meet the requirements of Regulation 10 of IRPA. The application is being returned to you for this reason. Your application fee was not processed and is also being returned to you.

Please see appendix(es) it says(your payment is stale-date. It must have been issued within six months of ur application)'

Please advise as to where I went wrong and what I need to do in order to reapply.....

very sorry to hear about it... but dont get discousraged, make new application and reapply it either with new DD or CC... With CC, you need to keep pressure on your bank to release the payment whenever charge comes to them..

By the way, which date applicant you were and when did you receive your documents back....

I am from Pakistan, I have applied through a consultant a week ago for FSW, he only has taken scan documents of me and my family with 200 dollar fees for file number of me, my wife and nine month's kid, today he sent me an email with some kind of CFN number that is:

CC-9182172819AH82

Please tell me what is this how can I check this online and also tell me is this a fake. Please I couldn't find anything like CFN on internet regarding Canada Immigration. Please help me.

I'm of a different opinion based on the stats and bearing in mind its not a FSW 2014 application. I believe its a positive decision that has been made

I am afraid, this status mean your application has been refused!

I know you'd disagree with this answer, your app's PPR is in process and the decision has been made so you know that you got the visa and asking this question just to "feel good by hearing it from someone else"!

This is unheard of up till now, are you sure you have applied for FSW (Federal Skilled workers) without Job offer category, there is no provision of scanned documents for FSW, please provide further details enabling the seniors to help you out.

Jaxon, careful from next time, not everyone has good sense of humor.

I do not have my name on my Birth Certificate, although date of birth matches all the documents. My parent's name is on the birth certificate. I got it translated before sending.

How big a mistake is it? can my file be rejected?
